About Me
My Gaming History:
I started gaming about 10 years ago with playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on my Sega Genesis. I LOVED that game so much!!!! I played it for about the next 3 years! I played a few other Genesis games, but i really can't remember any besides Madden 94. I NEVER COULD UNDTERSTAND how that game worked lmao!
In early 2001 I bought a Nintendo 64. I had Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario 64. I was addicted to that for about 2 years. Over time I bought classics like Mario Kart 64, Ocarina of Time, and Pokemon Stadium. Overall, i loved the N64.
2003- After playing Super Smash Bros Melee on my cousin's GameCube, I decided to ask for it for my birthday. I bought alot of games on it. Smash Bros Melee, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Sunshine, Resident Evil 4, Mario Party 4, and more! I kept my GameCube until the Wii came out, so you can kind of say I still have it.
Christmas 2003- By suprise, I got a PlayStation 2! I had no idea i was going to get it! I felt like Nintendo 64 kid!!! It came with Ratchet and Clank: up your aresonal. Plus it was MY first personal DVD player to boot! I STILL have it to this day, just to have it like everyone else lol.
I really didn't buy another console until December 2006. I bought a Wii. Wii Sports was a whole lot of fun, but what got me hooked was Twilight Princess. I had been in the Zelda universe more then a few times (OoT and WW were awesome). I thought this game was mainly hype, but boy was I so wrong! And from August '07 on, I have been hooked on the Wii with Corruption, Galaxy, and Brawl
Christmas 2007- I got the Xbox 360. I didn't have this feeling of gaming...uhh...ism since i got the PlayStation 2! I felt like Nintendo 64 kid all over again. With Halo 3, and the Arcade disk pack, I was and still am busy to this day. I have rented a few games for it, which has also kept me busy with mah 360. I plan on keeping it for a while or until i get the RRoD.
----------------------------------------------------------
On the handheld side, about a year after I was addicted to the Genesis, I inherited my cousin's Game Boy. I brought it with me almost everywhere. I had Tetris, and that's all i needed until Pokemon Red came out! I played that a lot too!
My next handheld would be the Gameboy Color, which i bought in late 2000. Probably the system I had spent the least amount of time with, a grand total of 5 months. I had Pokemon Crystal, and some unknown game I can't remember... then came...
2001- The GameBoy Advance. I was in sheer awe when I saw the raw power a handheld could provide (at the time). A marvelous system, with Super Mario Advance as my first GBA game. I took a short break from handhelds to focus on other things, until Pokemon Ruby/Saphhire came out that is. That brought me back to the handheld market.
March 2005- after seeing the Nintendo DS in action at another cousin's house, I decided to get one myself. By this time I could cut grass, so in a couple of months I GOT ONE!!! I had Super Mario 64 DS as a launch game alone. Kind of lonely for about a year til New Super Mario Bros came out, coincidently I got the DS Lite around this time. Kept me busy. I bought a few more games, Prime Hunters, Tetris DS, even a couple GBA games like Final Fantasy and stuff, but when Pokemon Diamond and Pearl came out, around 13 months ago I was and still am hooked.
May 2007- I buy a PSP. I have had ALOT of fun with this gem, I have everything but my cell phone on this thing! I had basicly all genres: Tekken, Lumines II, Daxter, GTA: LCS (borrowed, then grounded lol). I still play my PSP time to time, and it feels great.
2009??? I may buy a PS3!
And that concludes my gaming history, over 10 years in the making!
I am also an avid TalkRadar addict!!! GO TDAR!
