Once those flexible OLED screens that are paper thin become cheaper, I can actually see pip-boy-like watches and such being available on the market. And I will be buying one as soon as I see one.
Ugh, I hope this doesn't mean the return of omniscient NPCs as well. That was way too annoying. If I kill someone silently in the dead of night in Bruma, how the hell do the guards in Cheydinhal know?
This is awesome as awesome as when Notch tweeted that the full name of "Scrolls" will be entitled "The Ender Scrolls".
Also, I'm sure Todd Howard has nothing to do with this. Both of them are very good friends and met up for an interview a few months ago. Highly, highly respect them both, by the way.
Do want. Well, what I really want is to be able to make the cross-country trip to Cali for the real Comic-Con, but that isn't happening any time soon. Is this the next best thing?
Bioshock Infinite should most definitely be the winner here. The game, in my eyes, went from a maybe to a definite purchase. They really blew me away at E3. However, I know for a fact that Skyrim will be my favorite game of the year.
This will be hanging up in my room as soon as I get it. I think it is awesome considering we aren't even paying anything extra for it. So, I'm guessing that the map will just get shipped with the game when it is released?
From what I understand, you do not need a kinect to play (Notch stated on his Twitter that you can play with a controller as well), but you will need to pay for it, even you have the PC version. But honestly, I would pay for it again with absolutely 0 complaints. Such an awesome game that has been worth the ~$20 I paid for it and much, much more. I have no problem giving Notch my money. :)
I've been waiting for the Insomniac multi-platform IP for a while now, and they didn't disappoint. Of course, it would have been nice to see some gameplay, but this sequence already has made me extremely excited for this game.
I bought Darksiders during that buy 2 get 1 free used games sale at Gamestop, and honestly, it is one of the best purchases I've ever made. I am about 90% done at this point, and absolutely love it. Worth way more than the 17$ I got it for. This trailer just makes me so, so excited.
This is amazing. I (well, actually it was my dad without my permission) lent my copy to his girlfriend's son. I doubt I ever get that back. This would look great on my shelf. I think $29 is a fair price to pay for such an amazing item and game, especially since it includes a $10 off coupon for Skyrim. That is awesome.
Pre-ordered my copy last week and will be picking it up tomorrow. Very Excited. Class-based shooters like this and TF2 is my favorite sub-genre of FPSs, and really the only kind I can stand beside FPSRPGs like the newer Fallout games.
Great guide, but I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with the order of importance of things you have. Personally, I worry less about a nice wooden home the first night and focus on punching enough trees and digging enough cobblestone to make charcoal and then charcoal torches. After that, I dig myself a little hole in a mountain, fill the temporary home with torches, leave a 1x1 block at the entrance for viewing, and wait out the night. At night, your biggest ally is light, and you do not want to be caught without torches. Just my .02.
My friend loved Homefront, but his game got corrupted somehow, and even deleting the save file from his hard drive couldn't save it. No matter what disk he uses, the game freezes up after the startup screen and goes to black. Really sucks. I assume a real parrot drone would make up for it though haha.
I love that company.
