Great article.

I loved both Space Channel 5 games. And I loved Michael as an artist.

I agree that Metroid looks good, but how is it that you don't consider it a sequel? Sure, it isn't Prime 4, but it's still a follow up to an established Nintendo character.

Also, although it wasn't a GREAT game, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence was pretty fun.

Galaxy 2 is to Galaxy as Majora's Mask is to Ocarina of Time.

There was a Genesis shooter named Biohazard. I remember playing it, thought it was the true reason for the name switch.

I was half-expecting the Space Channel 5 series to be downgraded to "Simon" clone from music game

Thanx for the American History X images, that made my morning.

Kicking myself for never playing Sin--I need to find that game now. Familiar with most of the others.

Technically you could have included a hundred other Japanese games...glad you didn't, though.

Yeah, Crono dies halfway through Chrono Trigger, but he's brought back though a time-travel switcheroo, thus making his death moot.

Listing this as a spoiler is like saying Aslan dies halfway through The Chronicles of Narnia.

Crono comes back, and pretty quickly, too.

Phantom Hourglass was great, but the timed dungeon that you had to keep going to ensured that I'd never play it again.

He's not well known (yet), but Rufus is not only the fattest character in Street Fighter IV, he's also the fastest. Getting beat down by fatties is humiliating even in the digital realm.

There's also Chang (KOF), Cheng (Fatal Fury), Earthquake (Samurai Shodown) and a bunch of others who can floor you if you don't watch it.

OK, I just have to ask--how many different Guilty Gear rehashes have we endured? This is gettin' ridiculous.

I just watched Kliff and Justice's moves and I thought, "Wow, hasn't changed in almost a decade."

King's Illusion Kick super from KOF '94 and Ukyo's Bust super from Samurai Shodown III are the best special moves ever. Ryu Hayabusa's Izuna Drop is a close third.

Author needs to be shot for putting Yun on this list (arguably the best character in SFIII:TS).

I've also played with most of the others. Q is kool, the rest are so-so. Can see why they don't appeal to all.

"It's like that beautiful-but-snarky babe in every horror movie who takes off to have hot sex with her boyfriend but then gets up for a glass of water, somehow gets lost on her way to the next room, and ends up hanging naked from a tree ten miles away with a tire iron jammed through her neck."

Don't even own a Wii, but this statement made reading the review worthwhile. LOL
