I Want
Saints Row 2 (Xbox 360)

This anti-GTA IV doesn't have the technical niceties (graphical hiccups abound) or Oscar-worthy story of Rockstar's magnum opus, but wins on pure fun factor and gleeful silliness. Co-op ...

LittleBigPlanet (PS3)

LittleBigPlanet is a game that’s virtually infinite in its content, and the platforming isn’t too bad either. PS3 finally has its killer app.

Skate 2 (Xbox 360)

This superb sequel only improves on this amazing skateboarding game. Has us saying, "Tony Hawk who?"

Fable II (Xbox 360)

This is role-playing in the child's sense: dress up and pretend. Despite the long load times and clunky inventory screens you can be who you want and have a ...

Fallout 3 (Xbox 360)
The freedom may scare people used to more linear shooters and the simplified customization might disappoint hardcore RPGers, but if ever a game was worth broadening your horizons for, this ...

Fight Night Round 3 (PSP)
Boxing rivalries can erupt into knuckle-tearing street brawls at press conferences or even at the scales while weighing in before a fight
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2)
A hell of a lot of fun, even when the cops are chasing you around town.
Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360)
The highly-anticipated sequel to the carjack-fest of the century is sure to satisfy all your mob and hooker related fantasy. Okay, maybe not ALL your hooker fantasies.
The Simpsons Game (PSP)
Not so much a cohesive game as a series of "episodes", this is still head and shoulders above the spin-off games that have clouded Springfield's finest down the years.
WWE SmackDown! vs Raw 2009 (Xbox 360)
A great game that fixes last year's mistake, while adding a whole new mode to an already stacked package.
I've Beaten
Bully (PS2)
Take the tough kids down a notch and rule the school as thuggish protector of the weak Jimmy Hopkins.
Mirror's Edge (Xbox 360)

A unique and enjoyable re-imagining of the First-Person Action Adventure genre, though a little rough in some small bits (also be wary if you suffer from motion sickness).

The Sims 2 (PS2)
If you don't mind that it never quite congeals into a coherent whole, you'll have a blast.
The Sims 2 Pets (PS2)
If you can't play The Sims 2 or its Pets expansion on PC, you might want to skip the experience altogether. The fun just doesn't translate to consoles.
