I want to use Exdeath but waiting for computers to attack can be so boring. Is it just me or is the Ex mode duration shorter in this game? I used to use Gabranth but not as much anymore. Golbez has terrible air game? I wouldn't say so his gravity and float systems are great for grabbing people.
Fun, but they are right about the whole bike part thing. I managed to get like 4 survivors the zombrex and had 4/5 parts. I searched for an entire in game hour! couldn't find it, D ending. I'm gonna try again but it's still stupid.
I use my Analogue stick for SSF4 and I have no problems. I feel too that the current D-pad is worthless but what's so bad about the analogue stick? People are making it sound like you can't play fighting and retro games without a d-pad.
I'm just assuming that they want to hide Columbia like they did with Rapture here but, how can they keep that thing hidden? you could just look up and bam! floating city! If it's known to the public I'd like to see why they let this place exist (With it's amoral scientific experiments and all)
Yeah, using equipment instead of exp just doesn't work. Especially with some of the characters whose weapons are hard to come by (I have only found 1 glyph in chapters 1+2) and it is annoying after beating the boss and finding that all your loot is worthless. By the way, how does Jonathan's whip get better? You can't level up and he can't change weapons, it still seems to be getting better but I don't know how. I doubt it's strength bonuses but...
@n00b There is Split-Screen, Urgh I bought this game because 3 of my mates got it and when we all play together it's a laugh but this game has some serious flaws. Can't heal, throw grenades or shoot properly while you're getting shot, the swimming/jetpacking is AWFUL. and the multi-player is amazingly unbalanced, giving out clearly better weapons through a completely luck-based system doesn't work. Oh and the lack of checkpoints is completely unnecessary! we should never have to replay big chunks of gameplay, putting a difficult boss at the end of 3 levels is just plain nasty. Ah that was a good rant, I'm going to abuse Gamestation's return policy and return this for RRD hooray.
You talked about the Co-op being amazing but you didn't even explain why it was so much better then the single player, it's the same game so what makes it so good? I got bored of hearing about the single player, I was excited for some awesome Co-op Stealth action! I hope this isn't a double post, sorry if it is.
You said the Co-op was great but hardly talked about it, after reading the review I really wanted to hear more! I don't care too much about the single player, I've just been pumped for some great co-op stealth.
Bah, I decided to sell MW2 after I joined a match and literally 4 seconds later I was hit by a grenade launcher, The MP has to many setups you can exploit. I'm glad I traded it in for RE5 now having loads of fun on it with my mate. And Spec-ops was more fun then anything else for me.
I hate it when you're good at a fighting game but you get beaten by someone who's never played before just because they mashed buttons, then they think they're 'really good'. urgh! My friend NEVER reloads! Ever! Also he never looks at his minimap and wonders how he just walked into the middle of a big firefight...
Hmph... I was undecided about buying this game, but from reading this review. I'm not gonna buy it! My TV is pretty rubbish so the graphics will be lost on me somewhat, and sorry, but the linearity just sounds stupid, 25 Hours? Thanks for giving me a heads up about that GR otherwise I might of got this game, not saying it's going to be bad, just that I really don't like the sound of it. Grandia (The first one on the PS1) is still my favourite RPG ever, cheesy voice acting FTW!
Meh, I never could get into it. Found it pretty boring to be honest, none of the 2-D Mario platformers ever appealed to me. Maybe I just don't like platformers :(
