10,000 years of Castlevania
I LOVE CASTLEVANIA! I remember hours on end playing Super Castlevania 4 on the SNES, and then replaying it again on the PSP. I remember how frustrated I was at Castlevania 64 though...ugh. Six months of renting that cartridge only to have the seal NOT BLOW UP!

I cannot (emphasize cannot) wait until Lords of Shadow is released.

The most brutal kills in the God of War III demo
I just saw the video on IGN, in their preview. It looks...just awful. In a good way though. Eyes kind of creep me out, so seeing Kratos rip out the Cyclops' eye is just...ugh. And what will really cause the most controversy? The sex minigame...you just know it will be there. Enraging well-meaning parents everywhere. "THEY'RE BREAKING VASES WITH THIS FILTH!"

xboxrulez--you really, really should just QFT. "The Internets Speak" doesn't refer to the speaker in the third person, spelled incorrectly and even some of the worst of what it has to offer is more comprehensible than your blabbering bullshit.

Luigi: A life in the shadows
Sigh. Poor Luigi. Some tough luck there. What we find out in Mario is Missing is apparently that he likes to help people...and is an avid photographer...of other photographs.

Recaptha: Masonry ing. lol

Horror movies that would make great games
The Shining as a video game would be pretty cool. And Shelley Duvall was totally running around with a knife in her hand. Like, where else would that come in handy other than in a video game?

Hmm...Just thinking about talking to Tony though--just make sure Tony isn't like Navi.

"Hey! Look! The guy that likes ice cream? Yeah, your dad just axed him in the gut. Hey! Watch out!" (press A to have Tony hide in your mouth).

The bloodiest games you've never played
I was never really impressed with DS in the first place to play through something similar on the Wii. But seeing as it will probably be cheaper in a few months (hopefully not bargain-bin cheaper) than it might be worth a pick-up.

I miss some of the gratuitous violence in video games. That, and having my parents tell me it would warp my mind, and actually believe it.

Game censorship around the world
@ FriendlyFire--not 'that' open and progressive.

Games are censored because kids today have shitty parents. They think "games are for kids, so they can't be bad," and pick up (insert random T or M rated game here) for their kid, failing to actually 'see' what the kid is playing. And then if by chance their little precious 'does' see some act of pixilated violence or gore, they fail to teach their children that this is a game, and that the actions seen in said game should not be imitated. Unless it's like--curing cancer, or something.

The best handheld conversions of all time
lol @ destroyerofall. For sure, man.

I personally thought that Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past was pretty awesome. Same with Super Mario 64 DS edition. Awesome list though.

The Top 7... Kickass Disney games
Oh, the Lion King and that son-of-a-bitch Wildebeest Stampede. And of course, every time I hear that Hall and Oates song, I feel like playing some Duck Tales.

Recaptcha: have duckbill......AWESOME!

Top 7... Oddest Japanese video game heroes
PEPSIMAN! Who the fuck sells out of Pepsi? And with that kind of an attitude? What a bitch. I thought that Tingle would be in this article, as he's a bigger hit in Japan than in the US--but hero status? Nah.

For non-indoctrinated females, this article is a great idea.

Come on guys, use this gold mine. I'm tired of being mistaken for a 12-year old boy on L4D. More girls = more fun. ^_^

It's not that Dracula doesn't learn, per say, it's that he adheres to the "Villain" code. You know, you let them 'kill' you but only a little bit; after all, everyone needs a paycheck next week too. :P

Also, the drawings of the hands may have less to do with Altair being in the game or not and more to do with giving "hints" that da Vinci is the artist that created the blades and crazy bat wing contraption.

Being an artist, da Vinci was well known for sketching hands (since they're so hard to draw) and being left handed, he'd sketch his right. And both hand sketches on the trailer are of right hands.

I'm excited for this game but can only hope that the annoying bitch that kept asking me for money in Israel didn't follow me to Venice.

Woman had no idea I was trying to "discreet" and "secretive" what with me bristling with knives. All the cool monks wear knives.

Damn PC gamers. I have to wait until tomorrow for this. Oh well, it could be worse. I could own a PS3 instead.

At least this review confirms the awesome is true and not a trick of editing in the preview trailer.

About Me
Apparently I'm supposed to fill this out. Too bad. I'm lazy so you get the "About Me" info copy/pasted from my blog.

So, about me. Let’s see. I’m pretty dull. I’m a married twenty-five year old mother of two. Three if you count my husband and six if you throw the pets into the mix.

But that’s all the boring stuff. Onward. Clearly, I enjoy video games. I got my first system when I was six because no one told my parents that video games were for boys. My love affair with all things pixilated has existed ever since. There is a soft spot in my heart for Super Mario Bros. 2 and Maniac Mansion as well as the unfortunate Sega Game Gear. I loved that thing in all its battery eating glory.

My husband and I own a myriad of gaming systems new and old and have indoctrinated both children, ages 8 and 4, into the ways of the gamer. We’ll try almost anything…myself having the exception of driving and sports games. I’ve nothing against people that like them, they just aren’t for me. Hey, I’m sure some of you will cringe at the fact that I love The Sims 2 and pre-ordered The Sims 3 the day it became available at Gamestop.

Let’s see…anything else? Oh, my favorite game of all time is Legend of Dragoon. My current favorite game is 1701 A.D (again that nerdiness rearing it’s ugly head). Anything else you want to know will just have to be directed at me in question form.
