DC Universe Online (PS3): Sony update: Lawsuits, Congress absences, and free stuff
1) To remind everybody: the U.S. has already started a class-action lawsuit the day after Sony announced the hack. WAAAY before the canadians did, so it's not just them. I also beleive they are not stupid enough to even think they'll get their billion dollars. It'S the way of things... go in court for a ridiculous amount, then settle out of court for a lesser amount... that is exactly the amount you wanted in the first place. 2) The sad thing, i had my info and credit card on the PSN and i don't even ever OWNED a PS3. I have a PSP. All that free stuff can't even be used on a PSP.

Gaming's most malicious machines
343 Guilty Spark: "Built by the Forerunners, an ancient race of enlightened beings..." [possible spoilers] The forerunners have been revealed to be ANYTHING but enlightened. They were sworn to "protect" the lesser races... as long as they were the dominant species of the galaxy. Otherwise they would wage war on the race threathening their dominion until those other races became "lesser", or were exterminated. They destroyed refugees, prevented the evolution of races, destroyed others, manipulated information and "supressed" any member of their own society who disagreed. The closest thing to space nazis we can find. They have killed themselves for all intent and purposes. Just a bunch of douches.

12 gaming mysteries we want solved in 2011
The Tali face thing... The Quarians being so high on robotics and electronics, one would assume they look like a whole bunch of cyborgs. The fact that their "eyes" seem to project light under their masks would support that theory. They also have legs, arms and hands that ressemble curiously enough... Geth. Therefore, I beleive it is more than highly probable they are closer to the Geth that anyone would care to think about. Seeing as Mass Effect 3 should cover the war between the Quarians and the Geth... we might see resolution to that mystery.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (Xbox 360): Special Forces tentacle-fest! Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath confirmed for Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Which probably means that in order to be able to play against those people who have early access to those characters, it means that every single copy already has the artwork and coding to play against them. Meaning the DLC content is already on every retail disc (unless they make you download a very early patch with those assets in - considering it's CAPCOM, i beleive it's going to be the former). Not that i care really, because this game is far off my radar because tried as i might, i never could get interested in MvC2.

Michael Jackson and 5 other bands censored for video games
If i remember correctly, Jet Set Radio Future also used a censored version of it's now "(in)famous and/or annoying" birthday cake song. 3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3): Make your very own Jade Raymond
OnyxOblivion, Jade Raymond, producer for Ubisoft. Most notable for making Assassin's Creed. A pretty girl being a video game producer brought feelings in the geeks out there and it was just a matter of time until drawn pictures of her made it to websites that require you to be 18+ of age. That's basically all you need to know about the "Jade Raymond" incident.

After Burner Climax (Xbox 360): After Burner Climax review
oh... and where i live, the arcade version of this game cost 2$. Sure you don't get the immersion of the fancy moving seat and the throttle/flightstick. But playing the game a mere 5 times means this 800 points package get's cheaper than the arcade version in the - short - run.

After Burner Climax (Xbox 360): After Burner Climax review
The length of a game has little to do with the "fun" you can have with it. I'd rather play Dead Space than the latest Alone in the Dark, despite the latest being about 2 times longer to play through. The same with comparing a map pack to After Burner. After Burner would be a fresh experience, even if a short-lived one. A map pack could last much, much longer, but for an experience you already played to death before. In my opinion, map packs are only for addicts of the given game that has them.

Predictions for gaming's biggest sequels
The article made a few mistakes regarding a few games. The most obvious is Halo: Reach. Seems ironic that he starts talking about it with "any Halo fan can tell you..." then goes on to say Reach was destroyed "years" before the trilogy, when it's stated in the first game (and in numerous other instances) it was destroyed mere "days" before Halo 1. The Pillar of Autumn (ship from Halo 1) made a "blind jump" to escape Reach... That's when the Halo trilogy begins.

The 7 most beautifully animated 2D games
Meh... Sorry, mr article creator... i just don't "feel" any guilt for "the act". There was already some games who looked and played almost exactly like that game that were released decades before. They are still being released now and then. Dragon's Lair, Space Ace... You pushed a joystick or a button on "cue" to change the animation sequence of the "game". Same as the "act" where you turn a knob to change the animation. They all look the same exact kind of game. Trial and error games like those are somewhat a thing of the past (and should mostly stay there if you ask me)...

Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360): Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 review
huh... ODST was made in a single year. MW2 took about twice as long, at minimum. Even Halo: Reach was started before ODST... They are not made by the same Bungie "team". So no, MW2 should not be compared to ODST for the length of development, as is mentionned in the article. Just sayin'
