I like the idea of being able to unlock the content by spending 400 points. I won't do it but there are some people out there who don't have enough time in their day to dedicate to gaming who could benefit from it.
It only makes sense that MK would outsell fighting games made by Capcom. Gamers know that if they buy MK they will be getting a full game supported by DLC as promised. Gamers also know that if they buy a Capcom fighting game,in 8 months to a year the same game with a few new fighters and modes will be coming out at $40.
I was planning on buying this game regardless of what reviewers said about it. I'm a huge fan of hack-n-slash-loot-rpgs and I've loved a lot of games in the genre that reviewers have given weak scores too. But, after hearing about co-op (way before this review) there is no way I'm gonna buy it. Diablo 2 let you take your character into any lobby and keep all your money, exp and loot and that game came out in 2000. Seriously, who the fuck thought tacking on this bullshit co-op in a Diablo clone was a good idea? Way to not give a shit Obsidian.
Just read the review. No thanks. I don't agree with anything said. That platforming is generic and boring, level design is a joke and accidentally making a crucial decision is just a quick A button press away. This games pace is like rolling a hexagonal ball up a hill. 95% of quests will have you going here to get this item to take to this person to get another item to go give to this person who gives you another item to go back and give to the first guy.
The camera is horrible. You certainly won't be running around spraying enemies with paint with the greatest of ease, you'll be running around trying to position your camera so you can see what you need to shoot while trying not to walk into a corner or fall through the floor or off the edge.
I've never disagreed with a review more in my life.
I didn't even bother to read the review. Chris is a die hard Disney fanboy so his opinion was already made before he even booted this game up. I got this game about a week ago and it's horrible. I can't see anyone wasting $50 on buying this. I wouldn't even justify taking up a rental spot on Gamefly with all the good games that are out now.
I started playing this a few days ago. I can honestly say that this game is bad, very bad. I am extremely disappointed in this game. The camera is broken, it's a chore just trying to play it. I hope when it comes to review time that they don't have Chris doing the review so you guys get an unbiased review and not one from a Disney fanboy.
Crap. I just measured and I have exactly 6 feet from the tv to the couch. I could only have single player and no one would be able to sit in the center of my couch when someone is playing.
I did some other measurements of my living room and if I rearrange it I would easily have 10' and no problems but I am not rearranging my whole living room just for Kinect. That's just silly.
1. Read helpful article at Gamesradar 2. Find out house not compatible with Kinect 3. Do not purchase Kinect 4. Save $150 5. ^Profit
this game is great. What the reviewing didn't mention is there are two different ways to continue your game after you finish it. There is a new game+ that starts you back at the beginning with all your levels, money and items but there is also a continuation option where you can keep playing without the bother of having to pay back any debts or going through the story yet again.
This game is definitely worth buying although the $20 price tag is a bit steep.
