Well how can you score a game properly if you haven't had a chance to check out the multiplayer? Multiplayer should be a big part of the score when scoring games, would Halo 3 got a 9/10 if it only had a Campaign mode?

I think you guys should have waited to review this one.....

Oh yeah,and btw HeavyTank; This isn't a MMOFPS. MMO stands for "Massively Multiplayer Online". Four player co-op is not considered an MMO by any means.

And how did no one else see comparisons to Fallout 3 coming? How many other FPS RPGS do you know of to compare this game to? Fallout 3 is the closest thing to Borderlands than any other game on the market. The reviewer pointed out the differences nicely and gave the reader a great idea of where both games are coming from in terms of gameplay.

Nice review. I just checked Gamefly and it's on it's way (gotta love GF, plus it has a keep it price of only $44!!) I've been so hyped over this game for the past few months that not even a negative review would stop me from wanting this.

I love loot collecting RPG's in the vein of Diablo and such and who doesn't love 4 player co-op FPS's? I think it's a match made in heaven. I love Fallout 3 but I think the focus of this game being more on weapon collecting and pure action is going to be exactly the difference that is going to make this game worth having to compliment what Fallout 3 lacks.

Hopefully some nice DLC down the road will keep this one running strong for a long time...

The JRPG genre is dead. No one is trying to do anything different. Western RPG developers are trying new and different ideas and seem to make customization a number one priority. JRPG developers are doing the same thing now that was being done on the snes 15 years ago. It's time to move forward people.....

I got a 7 year old who has trouble keeping up with the more complex rpg's out there and he's been playing that god aweful Wizarding 101. This may be a good choice for him to help him get the hang of real MMO's.

Sounds good for a 7 year old, I may play it to see what he'll be doing but I couldn't imagine a teenager or adult enjoying this.

BTW, the D word I believe is "Death" . . . .

I have been skeptical about this game since the day I heard about it, but now reading this hands on preview I'm psyched as hell to get this game. I gotta track down the roster list, I'm sure my boys B.J. Penn and Chris Leben will be in the game though

The 3rd installment was probably the most fun I ever had playing a 1v1 fighter with a handful of friends. I imported it from Japan years ago and used the slide card to play it on a U.S. PS2. Awesome game, get that one instead.

I saw some game footage of this and got a feeling of what kind of game this would be. Still it looks hot when it's in motion doing it's thing. I'll snatch this one off of Gamefly and just ship it back when I either beat it or get bored with it.

Selling these GH games for specific bands is yet another reason to get even more money out of gamers. With DLC being the way of the future there is no reason this couldn't just be DLC for the previous GH game. But the fact that there are still kids out there that are stupid enough to buy it is the reason that crap like this will continue to happen.

I'll be the first to say how stupid nintendo is for forcing multiplayer on thier best games. This is almost as bad as forcing GC users to own multiple gameboys just to play multiplayer. These FFCC games are a poor excuse to force gamers to purchase multiple copies of the same game to play with others.

Just plain stupid.

QFT indeed. I remember playing the hell out of UFC Sudden Impact for the PS2 . . . even though it was a horrible game, but it was the ONLY UFC game out. So yeah, I've been waiting for this game for a looooong time. The only thing that scares me is that I heard they cut the development time on this game short for an early release so as not to have it compete with the heavy hitters that would have accompanied it's original release date. <---(run on sentence FTW!)

Oh well, keep them fingers crossed UFC fans and hopefully we'll all be having a great time beating the piss out of each other online and having fun doing it in May . . . .
