Probably the best article I've read anywhere in a long time. Hilarious, everything is well timed and well said. Oh and that scene in Indiana Jones is one of my favorite movie scenes ever, so you get bonus points.

s'weird... I do not feel at all sexually aroused or attracted to any of these girls (or the guys....). Sorta desensitized to sex-marketing nowadays like a lot of other people.

I guess you could call it a weird anomaly that the marketing that was/is called sexist is actually desensitizing men/women and thus making them more comfortable around each other.

Without sexual tension in the air the door is open to actually talk and develop a real, friendly relationship. Weird. Dunno if that's true, but it sounds like it could be.

What realm were you on that you had no trouble grouping for Mara and ZF? I was just trying to group for mara on my dps warrior and NOBODY was looking for a group. I spent like 4 hours piecing together a group and then half of them had to leave by the time we got started.... this is on Alexstrasza, a high population realm.

It does seem like half the people you run into now are DKs. Alterac valley PVP has been reduced to blood and unholy dks smacking other blood and unholy dks and then reaming the bosses.

My warrior's guild is a relative noob guild, only a couple 80s, not seriously into raiding, and now over a period of a couple weeks since I joined, half the guild population has turned to DKs. It's like a fucking plague.

I have to admit though, playing as a DK can be really fun however common you are.

No matter what anybody says in any comment on any message board or in any blog in the world, WoW will not be upset from its place at the top for a long time.

WoW killer or Halo killer or killer games have always ended up the same way.

Say what you want haters but I like WoW. I play it all the time and I enjoy it. Self-improvement, proving yourself against others in PvP, showing off in duels and instances, hanging out with friends from all over, beating all the challenges the game has to offer, overcoming obstacles, and all that jazz is great for me.

It's cool if you don't like it, me and 12 million others are gonna go play WoW and have a fuck of a good time.
