| don't get me wrong TES IV oblivion has Great and has hugely better graphics than TES III morrowind (the unmodified version at least) but it doesn't really bring any thing new to the genre morrowind is the one that changed things no oblivion. when modded correctly morrowind out strips it's younger brother in everything but the stealth elements. | |

| Mirrors edge: perceived genre:FPS Actual Genre: platformer This one really bugs me because how could it ever be a shooter did any one actually ever fire a gun more than 3 times yet it says FPS everywhere. I mean come on LBP has more shooting than this and the paintball gun is easier to use. |

| Thief: The Dark Project and its sequels changed everything. with the exception of mercs v's spys which didn't change anything and has not been replicated. the only thing the splinter Cell series has brought the the genre is double agent's path choosing (which also has not been replicated | |

| Epic fail. Half-life (well counter strike) had a huge impact on the genre. The halos didn't change anything hell Quake II had more of an impact than the halos. I mean look at the multi-player before and after. Come on GR, usually you get it right. |
