For the first idea, if you own a 360, you can just set your text and chat settings to 'friends only', open up private chat,or just mute the person.

The idea is as funny as *insert naughty word here*, but sounds like it would get annoying after a few times.

Reviews always seem biased to me, IGN said the multiplayer to Gears 2 would be fantastic, which it is the exact opposite of. Well, IGN is biased anyways.

I'm going to wait on this one, the first just completely dropped the ball for a exclusive, plus it's a huge hype-generator, and games that have a lot of hype usually don't deliver.

This game doesn't even deserve a 9 for it's multiplayer, there are practically more glitches then I have gamerpoints, PLUS an embarrasing error in the software that epic made that lets you melee through walls.

I agree that 2008 wasn't a very exciting year as well.
I agree that Halo 3 > Gears 2 (MP-wise anyways), though I disagree about the COD5 > COD4 bit. They're both rather boring games for just handing out kills on a silver platter (hence why it's so popular), but co-op and zombie mode just really push COD5 over COD4 for me. Plus, Treyarch is actually paying attention unlike IW.

I don't see how it matters. It's all opinion, there's no 'better' game.

World at war, something just clicks with that game to me. Everyone has a favorite and a preference, nothing is better.

Somewhere between now and Sunday, no official word from David Vanderhaar yet on when, who runs the beta. It should be in the range of high 30's to low 40's.

Only entirely big problem they need to fix is the fact that it's easier to snipe with a bazooka then a bolt-action.

Half decent at the most. Way too much imbalances. The Thompson is fine actually, it's just that everything else is extremely weak. The shotgun takes two shots point-blank. The bolt-action rifles take two shots to kill some for god's sakes, that is just a seriously stupid.

It's a beta though, so I hope it get's better.

Meh, thanks for hyping up the game for me, but i'm still not giving MY own rating until I play it myself. I'm sure it'll be fantastic, but I still don't know if it's the game for me.
