Let me throw up a few more mentions (heh, throw up) Gals Fighter for the Neo Geo Pocket Color: An 8-bit 2D fighter featuring some of the most known fighting femme fatales of the Neo Geo catalog, and a cross-dressing Iori. Mighty Final Fight for the NES: An SD (super deformed, not standard definition) version of Final Fight, and the first time that the "female" Poison made its US debut. Mortal Kombat Anthologies: Sub-Zero for the Nintendo 64: A 2D sidescrolling beat-em-up featuring everyone's favorite ice-shooting ninja. Sadly, the game sucks balls and bollocks, depending on region. |

Yeah, I'd imagine Smash Bros. would make an appearance, considering many if not all of their stages feature some forms of uniqueness and originality. Either in the form of destructible terrain, a myriad of ways to attack your enemies indirectly by the stage itself, or just some of the random Nintendo or even Sega/Konami cameos. Or are you guys just going to state that Smash Bros. is not a fighting game and is just another party game disguised as one? |

At least half of all Terran Marines in StarCraft. You're given the option to rot in a prison cell for the crimes and misdemeanors you have done, or to suit up in some monstrous body armor, given a rifle, as much Stim-Pak your body can handle, and enough threatening forces from all sides to puncture with your bullets. Sure you could die on the battlefield in the name of your C.O., but you were already dead inside with your incarceration. |
