QOTW: What game do you always go back to?
I'm constantly going back to playing Super Smash Bros Melee. I'll be sure to preserve my gamecube/wii for many years of smash! Other games I go back to are any of the Metroid games, Need For Speed Underground 2 (rarely), any Zelda game, any Mario adventure game, Mario Kart, Final Fantasy games (prefer the SNES style), Halo 2, and Rock Band 2

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii): Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Brawl is a 10/10 game for the people who never became pros in the previous smash bros titles. I got so accustumed to the fast paced fighting style that when I played Brawl, I was highly dissapointed. There's also other little things that get very annoying like randomly slipping and waiting for an online fight to begin. Other than that, Brawl is a fun and easy-to-play game.

My final verdict for Brawl: 9/10. Brawl has many great additions (online, storyline, recording, custom stages, more characters, etc.) but it robbed the Melee'ers of their fast paced teching.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
Brawl is a quick to learn fighting game with many new features like online, the ability to create your own stages and record matches, and a wider variety of characters. But because of the online feature, brawl was significantly slowed down.
The characters randomly slip and fall leaving yourself open for a second or two. Some characters practically float when they jump in the air. The characters easily grab onto the edge from extreme distances making it super easy for opponents to return to the stage. Characters can do multiple quick attacks by simply keeping the A button pressed... where's the skill in that? A big let down is not being able to control where you want to move during a mid-air dodge (no more wave dashing...) Some called it a glitch but if you learned how to do it, it would really improve your control over your character. A huge let down was not being able to L cancel! L canceling was the best way to move quickly and get good combos in.

Brawl is OK, but when it comes to the actual fighting, melee dominates. After becoming a pro at melee I realized the drastic changes done to brawl and I prefer the good ol' fun I got from melee.

About Me
I'm a Nintendo fan. I've played the NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, and all Nintendo handhelds. Don't get me wrong; I also like playing the PS3 (Rock Band) and the Xbox (Halo), but it's not the same. Since I grew up with Nintendo, I've grown accustomed to its classic characters and story plots.

Sorry for all the diehard SSBB fans but, SSBM is the best multiplayer game for Nintendo. SSBB has lots of new features like Online Playing, but it lacks the fast paced fighting style of SSBM. I prefer playing a good 5 minute match in SSBM than playing SSBB for an entire evening with a group of friends.
