Henshin a go-go was pushing it, but the rest were pretty obvious. since yer probably going to find more and do a part 2 or something, somehow. and it will mention Okami. A lot.
simply one of your more amazing articles here. I love it. Great video. I love the style. this is the kind of thing that's kept me coming to this site so many years. You guys take gaming totally seriously, while making the journalism half rather enjoyable.
Big titles only? what about Phantasy Star Zero? Packing all the gameplay of Phantasy Star Online into a game pack, complete with a 14-hour storyline, amazing graphics for the DS that run smoothly in full-rendered 3D, and online play to boot?
I scrolled down a few inches to see the title of the first thing.
I have No Mouth and I must scream is probably the creepiest thing I ever read. Batshit insane and so morbidly scary that I don't want to admit it. I doubt Ill know anything else on this list but Ill post again and take mroe bandwidth if I must.
I'd like to add on a comment about how when people want to say they agree with you, they don't take the same journalism care that you did when writing the article to mention it.
They understand that games don't make you a serial killer, you don't have to write "i r not kilr and I play GoW2 lol" or even "lol"
You do realize that as much as that is true, the reason that those techonophobic game haters speak on the subject of kids playing mature games is a real issue and it happens all the time. You people may find it funny, but the reason that the games get released with their rating is because that's how old you should be to play it, and when you get your mom and dad to buy it, you don't win, you make the rest of us lose.
there were quite a lot of songs I liked before GH or RB ruined them. Best example : Fire and the Flames, and by extension, the whole band Dragonforce. No one knew who they were in my school beforehand, maybe a few, I used to enjoy their music. Then strolls along GH3 and suddenly EVERYONE is listening to it, talking about it "oh man that song is fucking epic" and singing it. This is still happening. I cannot stand them anymore, everyone listens to it and it's constantly everywhere.
I am one of those that beat I wanna be the guy. Smashed 2 keyboards and the neighbors complained for my screaming. I gotta say, for some reason dracula always seemed the most irritating part of the game, aside from the Guy at the end (who took me well over 400 tries to beat.)
I beat I wanna be the guy. It took... forever. I got so pissed. I broke at least two keyboards and shouted WHAT THE FUCK so loud my neighbors complained. No joke.
Agreed with what synthetic said. Rape is something that goes beyond the line, it is something just wrong.
Shooting games. Now, shooting someone in public, that's bad, so is killing the innocent. Killing someone that wants to kill you, as is the case in most of these FPS's, is what you would call self defense. It's as good of a genre as it is because it pulls us the closest to 'serious business' as you can get; meaning, if the other guy has a gun, you took up arms to fight him. for your life.
These games are twisted and aimed to either fail at being humorous or appeal to one of humanity's deepest darknesses.
These people probably thought what most people do - shooting people in general is wrong, yet it's a popular video game; maybe if they push the boundaries they'll now become famous?
And for the whole "acting it out in a video game sates urges do do the destructive and terrible" people, no. Just, no, that doesn't happen.
