I agree with the first poster. This game is fairly easy to figure out. The reviewer should stick to Halo. And how about a review for those of us who aren't insane sadistic pricks and aren't going into the game for the purpose of terrorizing the virtual population?

A great concept done when it was called DEATH TRACK in 1990, one of the best racing games of the era. Unfortunately, this company bastardized the name and turned it into a Wipeout/Rollcage clone. After I played the demo quite a while ago, I posted an angry post on their forums about how they crapped all over the original.

Small error on your chart: Metal Gear Solid 3's subtitle is Snake Eater, not Subsistence. Subsistence is the special enhanced release.

Anyone else just realize that the initials for Duke Nukem Forever are the same as for "Did Not Finish", often put on scoreboards and such in racing games where cars can be blown up and people knocked out of races.

I sometimes enjoy EVE in short 1 and 2 month bursts, but it's not going to EVER get a huge player base as long as the whole concept of the game is acting like an asshole to other people to grief them and steal their stuff. And the playerbase is mostly just that -- assholes. Not just ANY assholes, but nutjob, right-wing Ayn Rand-iates who think if you're not kicking someone in the face, then you should be the one getting kicked.

I've gotta agree with the above commenter. This review is just an embarrassment. I'm not saying the game doesn't have its problems, but they're certainly not the ones the reviewer commented on. It's still a good game for fans of JRPGs, especially considering the complete lack of great JRPGs on the PC. And it's significantly better than its 360 counterpart, in much the same way as the PC Mass Effect was.

Supply Lines is a MUCH MUCH MUCH worse mission in GTA: SA than Wrong Side of the Tracks. That I could usually finish in 6 tries. Supply Lines takes cheats plus 50+ tries.

The Super Action controller was A LOT better than the coleco's standard controller. You really don't need everything in a single game. For example, you use the scroll wheel OR the joystick, and you generally only use the numberpad to respond to menus.

The PS2 network adapter and HD have been great for the homebrew community. My PS2 is a MUCH better media streamer than my 360 (when my 360 doesn't have a case of RROD). And running most of my games off the HD is great for the laser.

I'm hoping this will be moddable on PC so we can fix it, but being an EA game, that doesn't seem too likely. I loved it on 360 but the combat aspects and 2D cutscenes were bad for it. I'm not a big fan of the time trials though. I'd be happier if the game revolved around Faith making deliveries and earning cash, losing cash on deaths, and able to buy stuff and the story would revolve around the packages she's delivering.

My PC can be built for less than $500 (if you don't count its monitors or storage overkill), plays all new games quite well, does other stuff (video, music, web, printing), is nowhere near an office chair, has better controls than my 360 for shooters and can use a gamepad when I want it to, has MANY more games than all the consoles combined (including many of the classic consoles' thanks to emulators and GameTap) including free ones and innovative home brew, is upgradable, and when it breaks I can actually fix it unlike my 360 and its RROD (which has been fixed a couple of times but now I'm scared to turn it on in fear it'll come back [I managed to make it through PoP between the previous RROD and the most recet one, but then it did it again]).

Fallout: POS should have been on this list, not PoP. All of the Sands of Time games were great. You just didn't like the prince in WW 'cause you were jealous of his badass-ness (and Godsmack music).

And Angry Videogame Nerd has a recent review of the CD-I Zelda games.

I'm pretty sure it was pronounced "fax zanna dew" on Captain N and the Game Masters, which I'm pretty sure was officially licensed by Nintendo.
