GamesRadarMikelReparaz commented on: So... Kratos kills his family to avenge his family? |
|
| @mgkyo666: Yeah, I thought about including Kratos' brother in this. He does have a presence in GoWIII, however minor, but we still don't know much about him other than that he's weaker (and presumably younger) than Kratos, and that he died when he was still a child and grew up in Hades. It also seems unlikely (but not impossible) that he's a son of Zeus, seeing as they aren't generally known for being weak or dying easily. So while he's related to Kratos, that doesn't necessarily mean he's part of the Olympian family tree. |

| Howetzer, if you weren't so obviously a huge fan of the site, I might be a little upset by your tone. But you are, so I'm not. However, I'd like to set a couple things straight. For the record, I do go to work. We have an office that I commute to every day. 12-hour workdays aren't uncommon for me, and it's rare that I actually get to play a game for a project like this. Most of my time is spent researching and writing feature articles. That's not meant as a complaint, but I thought I should correct your idea of this industry in case you ever try to get a job in it. It's also a little unfair to say that I've failed. Yes, I missed two chests, and that's embarrassing. But the items inside them do appear again later, so it's not as if the guide is totally incomplete. Finding the maximum available numbers of all four item types created the mistaken impression that I'd found all the items. If that's inconvenienced anyone, then I apologize. The second omission will be fixed shortly. I'm curious, though - why did you go and click on what's clearly a guide article (more than once) if they're for idiots? I guess I don't understand your reasoning there. |

|
| Writing one game music article a day is no sweat considering I've been amassing a collection since third grade. Look at it as a chance to catch some interesting tunes you'd otherwise miss. As for the multiple posts a day, there's still a "normal" feature every day, plus these smaller posts to make the site move along throughout the afternoon. No more sitting around waiting for the homepage to change once a day. Personally I love it. But I share your sentiment - the features are our strength, and we definitely know won't stop them. |

| The video's fixed. As for the third Hades Phoenix Feather, I'll take a look, and if it's there I'll update the guide accordingly. For those already past that point, though, the guide DOES illustrate how to find 12 Feathers (the maximum Kratos can collect); you'll just finish collecting them in the Gardens instead of the Workshop, is all. |

| The audio in the first comp video is all from the N64 version. From what I've played on XBLA, the voices are the same and the music sounds very close. Possibly enhanced versions of the original OST. | |

| I haven't had an all out crash on my 360 copy, but I've had more than a few telltale signs that it's about to. Following battles and cinema transitions, I'll get a momentary freeze, or that loud sound of the disc struggling to read... It's truly terrifying each and every time! I don't consider it a sign of "Will FFXIII crash?" but rather "Oh god, WHEN will FFXIII crash?" SAVE OFTEN! Captcha: Tunic Ablaze! |

GamesRadarBrettElston commented on: 10 face-kicking songs that better be in Green Day Rock Band |
|
| @zigs I'm no drummer, so I can't speak on that level, but as someone who's played a crapton of RB drums I feel it'll be a total blast to play. Brain Stew is one of their slower songs so it's definitely not indicative of a typical track. I agree there's a lot of overlap when it comes to GD's drums, but it'll still be a challenge to get through on harder settings. I mainly wanted to stress how different this band-specific Rock Band entry will be compared to Beatles. As a "drummer," I couldn't stand Beatles due to its nearly nonexistent drum charts. This time there'll be tons of pedal and lots of movement around the pads. But I do appreciate the feedback, especially when it's that coherent and to-the-point. |

| No Quest for Glory love? Why Bearhat, why? Especially with the Episodic treatment that point and clicks seem to favor these days (Strong Bad, Sam and Max, Monkey Island and Wallace and Gromit) Quest for Glory fits that mold really really well. Plus they could fix the shitty fighting system from Quest for Glory IV. (Or fix it for all the games...) Plus, they had mild RPG elements which could be enhanced and would help keep the point and click Renaissance from getting stale. |
