Well said Chardan. I'm definitely on the same page as you. I've been looking at the site and listening to the podcast for years now, and i've barely ever commented since i'm usually busier keeping my ladies from burning the house down. For someone who's got barely any time to even look at the internet, i've gotta say i love everything you guys do. Talk Radar is by far my favorite podcast/radio show/entertainment venture ever. I've been listening to podcasts ever since they came into existence, liking different ones cyclically. 1up, AJ, Sarcastic, OXM, etc... The only one that i haven't given up of after a while is Talk Radar. I think it's that you're all the same age as me(29) and have similar interests/personalities. I think Chris is just like me and my buddies. I've been doing the stupid voices and accents and making up characters and bad jokes my whole life so it's cool to find someone of the same mindset. I also love the interaction between Chris and Mikel and Brett. Without them constantly digging/correcting/playing off each other, the show would be nowhere near as fun to listen to. It just really reminds me of dickin around at a friends house, having some drinks and shootin the shit. It works because it's real, and you can tell they actually give a shit about what they're talking about and who they're talking about it with. I would have called in to say this to make it more personal, but they're has got to be such a gigantic back log on that sucker since everyone loves you i figured i would just post it here. I know you guys need comments on your stuff to keep the bigwigs off your back and so they know that all your work is paying of for them, so just show them these posts. I don't have enough time to post every time i read an awesome article since i'd be posting on almost every article you guys put up. This site and especially this podcast really are the best on the internet. No bs, no blowing smoke, they really are the best. If Talk Radar is ever taken down prematurely it will be sorely missed. Listening to this podcast makes my Saturdays much better. Show your bosses that we love the work you do, and our lives are better for it. Thanks for everything you guys have ever done, and everything you will continue to do for us. By the way, I would love for Dan to be a guest on your podcast. I used to listen to OXM all the time, and then when Dan left, i realized the reason i listened was the dichotomy between dan and ryan. Dan was the heart of the show and it wasn't the same without him. He's definitely one cool nerd. Again, thanks for all your had work fellas, we love ya! |
