Hmmm... most of those games are just games that reviewed well but didn't sell millions of copies, however I woulden't call most of them under-rated, atleast half of them did very well in gterms of sales for what they were...
Sounds like theres a lot of work to be done but it's also sounding promising. What concerns me is that at the moment the details are sounding alot more fleshed out than the basic structure, like not knowing if localized damage is guna me implemented etc...
If you don't know what this game is look it up. Although I agree in the sense that the preview could have been a lot of explanitory for people who haven't heard of this amazing project yet.
"The argument that the New Orleans setting, new weapons, elaborate set pieces and imaginative achievements could somehow be crow-barred into free DLC holds about as much water as a sieve"
So far from what I've seen I have to disagree with you here, there again my uno connection cuts me off from online steam games after 10 minutes so I've only seen the first 10 minutes of the demo... which really isn't enough to judge. I still haven't heard anything that convinces me it coulden't be a DLC expansion pack though. Not say I want it free mind you...
How can anyone be a microsoft fan, sure like your 360 but stop going out of your way to defend microsoft, their bastards and hate you. Sony on the other hand... <3
I'm getting this for christmas, enjoyed the demo, although I did get majorly stuck towards the end, but thats adventure games for you... definatly be getting this for Christmas from steam.
Good review and me and the other pc gaming GamesRadar forum users would like to offer you the oppertunity to become the GamesRadar PcGaming king, and play TF2 and other pc classics with us, because the rest of GR doesn't love us and we just want to be loved -_-
To be honest I coulden't care less about the dedicated servers, except for the lack of mods it creates, but theres loads of other games to mod so fk that 2. I'm a bit bummed out about the player cap, but even there, doesn't bother me. I don't get all this "might as well buy it on the 360 then", thats bs, with the pc version you get the same game with better graphics and better control, so from where I'm standing that still meens better. If no1 buys it on the pc infinity ward will just be added to the list of devs who used to make pc games, and that'd be a massive shame. Unless theres a another twist in the tail I'll still be buying it for my pc.
If they don't get completely nude then whats the point? In the days of the internet who's guna pay for a silly excuse to watch cartoons strip down to their underwear ffs?
Dissapointed in this... not the review, the game, such an interesting premise but as you and many others have reported they failed to take it anywhere interesting, story of the FPS' life...
Interesting, not really my kind of thing but It sounds solid enough in enough areas that I might just give it a go... hopefully it will be a pleasant suprise.
Well they've got atleast one customer from this review, I was impressed by what I read in pcgamer, but obviously I wait for Games Radar to have the last word.
I know what to get my brother and sister for christmas now aswell...
I wish for gaming promotion they went the guns explosions and gore route, than titties. Tits add well to pr0ns, but to games I think they should GTFO. Compared with guns, explosions, and gore, tits doesn't contribute much to action games, unless its RapeLay.
Fantasticly logical thread Mr Newman, one of my "more favourite" top 7's.
But aren't the majority of (and i HATE to say this) "Hardcore" gamers male? Therefore i think developers/publishers have pretty much realised that sexism = sales.
NSMBW is NOT the best game on Wii, and it is NOT the best Mario 2D platformer. I'm a Mario fanboy, and you my friend are some middle age weirdo who has just got into gaming with his 6 year old daughter. This review is reasonable and i than Brett for making it so far. I hate it when people say bad stuff about Mario, but this does not. It is portraying a fair opinion that fits perfectly into the form of a review. Your opinion is incredibly bias, not to mention idiotic. There is no "best" Mario platformer, they are all great, but this is the weakest one. I don't own the game, and i won't buy it (soon), but i've played it, and i agree with this review almost 100%. SMW, SMB3, SM64 and SML are way better than this poor excuse of a Mario platformer, its the first one on a console in 18 fucking years, it should of been better. Go to hell.
And the thing that makes me even more angry is the fact Miyamoto-san is even considering implicating the crappy Super Guide into SMG2, which he say's will be more challenging than the last. All i can say to that is...
