I want to say Grand Theft Auto, but I didn't actually finish the very first game. Every other one though.

I did finish all the Half-Life games. All 2-and-2/3 of them.

Now you should write a best NPC ally article. My vote is for the Arbiter from Halo 3. He kicked ass. He killed tons of enemies and when he died he got back up after 15 seconds. Not a liability at all.

Funny article, too true. I liked Fawkes' gung-ho attitude though, especially when he killed all nearby civilians as well as enemies.

Top Five:

1. Deus Ex: Best game I've ever played. I cared about the characters, the story, the setting, it is the only game that I can call an experience.

2. Final Fantasy 7
3. Final Fantasy 8: These two games have always triggered an emotional chord with me. As a nerdy teenager with few friends, I found solace in these game worlds (sounds lame, I know).

4. GTA (any PS2 iteration): I've logged more time on these than any other.

5. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver: The best acting in a game I've ever heard. The gameplay was simple which was fine, but the story held this one above the rest.

I've played all these games multiple times and enjoy them still. Also of note, is that they all have great soundtracks. I think good music bonds you to the experience more.

It really seems like the publishers of these games were trying to scam the public. They had to have known they were selling shit and then they wrote press releases that were completely misleading. Shame on them.

CoD:WaW singleplayer has so many cheap deaths and the Nazi Zombie mode isn't nearly as fun as similar modes on other games (L4D, GoW2). Multiplayer is the only good part of the game.

The Resident Evil quote that stood out to me, and was most uttered in my household, was: "Stop. Don't open. That door."

Also, I remember a kid on the bus in grade-school who would constantly say "Hardyuken". I once beat him up over unrelated issues.
