What, what, what? Metro Last Light delayed? Oh cock... Well at least it wasn't cancelled. I was sooooo looking forward to playing it this year, now everything just sucks. Sad face.
1 month, 1 week ago BioShock Infinite developer Ken Levine disappointed with Internet for being obsessed with boobs [NSFW]
Hmmm, while Elizabeth's cleavage does border on excessive, personally I think it does seem to make Elizabeth appear more vulnerable - as was mentioned most gamers are male, and it might play on our more baser instincts of protecting our mate. The cleavage makes no bones about what sex Elizabeth is. Add that to her eyes which remind me of an almost childlike innocence.

Perhaps without the cleavage, Elizabeth may appear too child-like. While men are hard-wired to protect our offspring, maybe more gamers can associate with having a girlfriend or wife, as having a kid would eat into any free time which would usually be spent playing games.

OMG! How're you supposed to read the article with that demented Shinobi banner covering the first section of each page. Enough with the friggin ads and pop-ups already GR...

Can't download this (or the ComicCon 'cast). It's giving me an error about Podtrac? Anyone else having this problem? Can't download via this page's link, and the streaming player doesn't work either. Also tried iTunes but no luck.

Me no likey. Me get angry. But me get mostly sad.

Pretty damn awesome article!
1 year ago Have you ever had difficulty enjoying a great game and had no idea why?
For me, I just couldn't get into Red Dead Redemption - I think that's partly down to open world games (kinda bored of them now). And although I really enjoyed Dead Space 2, and it's more technically accomplished than the first, Dead Space (1) is, for me at least, the better game...

Best soundtrack FF XIII? Why? Because those who voted for it had to listen to it's generic-bore-a-thon "music" for 400 million hours, and didn't get a chance to play/listen to any other games. This is, of course, my opinion and any FFanboy messages won't be read because I don't care...
1 year, 4 months ago Developer of the great but chronically under-promoted Singularity loses staff. Anyone surprised?
That's a shame... While I didn't mind the new Wolfenstein, Singularity sits proudly on my games shelf - I really had a lot of fun with it. If you're undecided about getting it and are after a smashing single-player game - go grab it now! Shame on you, Activision!
1 year, 4 months ago 5 reasons why free video games aren't all they're cracked up to be
I once won a copy of Bionic Commando from a local Gaming TV Show. I was all excited (hey, free game!) but when it arrived, it was one of those god-awful 360 promotional copies. It sticks out like a sore thumb amongst the other games...
1 year, 5 months ago Silent Hill 8 for fans of the early series, apparently. Konami dangles the hope carrot again
The first Silent Hill was amazing, and Silent Hill 2 was the reason I bought a PS2. Silent Hill 3 was great, as well as being a direct sequel to SH1. In all honestly, I really enjoyed SH4: The Room - it felt different to the others (it did start out as a different game), but still drew me in with it's atmosphere. Origins and Homecoming really let me down - they were generic, and a little dull. There was little atmosphere/sense of foreboding.

I love the idea behind SH - the way its portrayal of the "Hellish Nightmare dimension" is tailored to each of the games protagonists. I really hope this new SH can redeem this once great franchise - damn the kids, make this one real adult fare. Barring that, give me an HD Silent Hill 1-3 remake!

About Me
I've been playing games for a fair number of years now - my first introduction to what would be my favourite pastime was my good ol' ZX Spectrum. I then moved onto a NES, Megadrive (Genesis), PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, and currently XBox 360. I've always enjoyed games, and with the current generation I'm more excited about games than ever before - even my love for movies has taken a back seat! I play most nights, and prefer a single player experience to that of a multiplayer session. I love the sense of immersion that the current gen is able to produce, and to me, this is what makes or breaks a game...
