4 months, 1 week ago GR’s weekend giveaway: Dark Souls for the PS3
I know it's bad for me but I want it anyway!
4 months, 1 week ago Battlefield 3 multiplayer, co-op and campaign preview
I seem to recall hearing that they'd turned off some of the destruction on Metro in the beta notes. Then again I may be totally wrong...wouldn't be the first time.
7 months, 3 weeks ago GR’s weekend giveaway: RC battle tank that shoots BBs
Oh dude, my cat is gunna hate this!

What a sick special edition!
1 year, 8 months ago This is the coolest (and cruelest) Achievement of all time
I waited until I ran into the random encounter with the lady & the broken down carriage. Let's just say I felt less guilty watching her get hit by the train...and by targeting her you do not get a bounty or take a hit to the honor. Though my wife will never look at me the same again.
1 year, 8 months ago GTA's Lazlow: Parents who buy kids RDR, GTA are bad parents
How can you argue with this? Unless you're a 14 year old, pissed because his parents won't by him an M rated game this logic is infallible. I dissagree that every kid is magically ready for mature games at 18 but I do think that parent who are letting their 12 year olds play MW2 are doing their kids more harm than good. I think it is a parents responsibility to determine when their children are ready for mature content and there are far too many lousy parents who use video games as baby sitters. This goes for tv, and movies as well. Somebody give me a well thought out, logical explaination for why I am wrong...
2 years ago TalkRadar 86 – Weezer vs Capcom
I love Weezer...I don't think I would like Rivers Cuomo. Its all well and good that were able to court such a high profile interview but DAMN was that guy boring. If it takes locking up someone like him in a room for hours a day, just tinkering with his music, to produce albums like they do then I am willing to make that sacrifice.

He could not have sounded less interested in talking to you guys though, especially about video games. It sounded to me like he was trying very hard not to let his true, condescending views of video games sneak through a hard PR shell.
2 years, 1 month ago TalkRadar 84 - Oh, what a lovely tea party
If I haven't told you lately Talk Radar...I love you. I know you understand my job can be stressful. You'll never know what it means to me that you are there every Friday, waiting for me at the door with my smoking jacket and a snifter of my favorite brandy. What? You sent the children to their grandmothers for the night and we have the house to ourselves? You naughty thing, you know I can't resist your wiles. How's about you slip into something more comfortable and meet me in the bedroom?

What was that? That's not why you sent away the children? What do you mean we have alot to talk about? You found lipstick on the collar of one of my shirts? I have no idea how that got there! Leave my secretary out of this; she's a happily married woman! Hold on a minute. No, Wait! Please don't go to your mother's! Honestly, nothing happened! WAIT! PLEASE!!!
2 years, 1 month ago The eight most talked about stories of the week (10-15 Jan 2010)
I'm digging this feature. The combination of "news I may have missed" and biting sarcastic commentary scratch all the right itchy bits to make this a must read for me every week. Keep it up.

By the way, what would you put on the Heavy Rain cover to really give a potential purchased an idea of the games content? From what I hear a picture of a dude brushing his teeth or combing his hair would be more indicative of the game play.

I'm digging the idea of a weekly news story summation and would definitely check it out on a regular basis. That bedazzled Wii looks ridiculous by the way (with or without the Zelda branding).
About Me
I'll give just about any game a shot, though I do miss the days were you could go down to the corner video store and rent a game for $1.75 for three days and give it a whirl before plopping down 50 bucks. I love the articles here on Games Radar. The top 7's and Talk Radar keep me coming back. Check out the TDar if you haven’t already Finally, if you value your gaming time, don't have kids as you will be expected to value them more highly. It's not too hard as they are mighty cute, but no matter how long many hours a day you let them drool on your Guitar hero controller it will be 6 or 7 years before they will be able to shred by your side.
