Nice list. Made me go back and check out a few games I'd never really listened to. Wizards & Warriors III was one I saw in Nintendo Power once but didn't give a second look until just now.

I'm a little sad to see that Hiroyuki Masuno's soundtrack for the first Top Gear didn't make the list. Once we had personal soundtracks on the first Xbox, I put that on for every racing game I played.

The new Xbox 360 ads with the slow-motion view of the creepy people with holes in their heads ALL qualify for this list. What is with Microsoft and their love of weird, weird shit?

Has there been a list of good games-within-games? That list is one I'd be interested in seeing. I'm sure there are some awesome mini-games out there (that might even make good full games on their own) that I've passed over because I never played the game that contained them.
