I really hate that they're called FAP. I get it, it's a puerile joke, like GAMECOCK, but it is more a detraction than anything. I appreciate the videos, GR is a great site and I enjoy the articles, staff does a great job, but FAP? That's just so corny. "FAP along with us" :\ |

No. You can go ahead and shout about what a great repainted WoW experience this is, and I will still say I don't want WoW I want KotOR. Also, according to some leaked video I did see, the play and graphics are terrible, and I mean "worse than old as dirt WoW" terrible. 4 hours and what I saw was bad animating, really bad writing, and a lot of boring and repetitive number clicking, much like WoW. This article almost smells like thinly veiled advertising, but you guys would never stoop to being shills, right? |

When I first got my PSP (a fat, no less), this was one for the first three titles I snapped right up for it, and I remember resetting the game just to check out the intro again. A friend of mine seemed unimpressed, so I'm glad to see I'm not the only one now that thought it was slick. |

This is a current gen plague. If we weren't online, they'd have to actually bug test their crapola before releasing it to be fixed later. I don't know about you guuys, but I hate paying $60 and tax to be a bug tester. Fable 2, Mercs 2, GTA4, oh the list is large, and largely only for my Xbox 360. My PS2 may have had a few bugs here or there, but never like they do now. Pathetic. |

You'll never believe which one of these I actually did play when it was fairly new and I was a child. Ready? Haunted House! I know!!! But seriously, I did play this game, only not on an Atari 2600, or at least, I don't remember the controller being Atari. This stands out as one of my very earliest gaming memories, right there with learning how to time flipping the Atari 2600 switches to play the music my own way, the first time I played Asteroids at home (I could not have been more than 5) and at an arcade (even younger!!!), and the first time I ever saw a guy actually drop change into an arcade game called Cliffhanger at a local Chuck-e-Cheese, which looked crazy hard to me when I was a kid. I just nostalgia'd.... |

If this article was any fluffier it'd be made off bunnies. I'll reserve my opinion about how great this game is after I've actually tried it for myself. I certainly hope, but sincerely doubt, this game will avoid grinding and time sinks, which are exactly what finally turned me off from MMOs to begin with. Again, I'll just wait and see what they decide to do. |

I loved this piece! It was deeply reflective and honest, quite a few times it even had me feeling a little nostalgic for those bygone days of "Genesis does what Nintendon't!" I feel that for so many reasons the Wii is truly contributing to gaming decline. It's been said often for a while now that this "casual gamer" appeal is hurting the industry, but more than that I thin it's a lack of quality and innovation in gaming design that is hurting us all the most. Releasing a system that dares to be different only to see it bogged by a glut of poor lookalike shovelware seems back assward in every way. There will always be a place in my fondest childhood memories for the old NES and SNES, long nights with friends playing those classic gray carts and such. Nintendo as it is now appears to be little more than a company of cheap cash grabs and poorly thought out doodads. The DS is neat, but Zelda with a stylus? That hurt, guys, it really hurt. |

I didn't think Prey was all that bad. The Pac-Man style game was flimsy, but not awful. I am a little surprised you guys missed the worse mini-game in a bad game; that masturbation game in Leisure Suit Larry: Magnum Cum Laude. From what I recall of it the game looked and sounded like something from the days of the Atari 2600, and it was how Larry masturbated (and I think it was how he enjoyed the occasional whore). A truly awful game in a truly awful game. |
