That is the most ridiculous resoning i have ever heard. If a person would have never paid for the game, then that person should never play the game. Yes people lose out if people play a game they don't pay for. Everyone from developers, to publishers, to their employees, to any person involved in distribution. People might hate that they make so much money, but they also invest a lot of money.

We were all children with little money and a large amount of games on the market. Back in the days before the internets it was even harder to decided which games were good. Renting games really helped with that, or you just played what you bought like it or hate it. Now with demos, and reviews, trailers, gameplay videos on youtube, it is easier to research your purchases. Just because someone has little money does not mean they should still be able to have access to games movies music that everyone else pays for. If that is the case there is really no incentive for anyone to do anything, if they can get everything for nothing.

I also Agree with this statement. Also, if $60 is too much, in a couple months everything goes down in price.

Just a question, and I'm not trying to be a jerk about it but, If someone is unable to purchase a game why would they think they still deserve access to that game?

I think the headline says "The President addresses a panicked nation 'AS' millions more are feared dead or infected" not 45. But my eyes are old and tired and the picture is small.
7 months ago Cheerleaders, chainsaws and glitter-spewing zombies: Yes, Lollipop Chainsaw is a Suda51 game
This seems similar thought to "Onechanbara: Bikini Samarai Squad" So I would Imagine sales would be only slightly better.

But Who knows, maybe it will sell more than wii sports did!
7 months, 3 weeks ago L.A. Noire's Team Bondi under investigation for "harmful" working conditions
110 hours a week is not 12 hours a day, it is almost 15 hours and 45 minutes a day, including weekends or 22 hours a day when weekends off. Add to that commute time, and you only have time off of work to sleep. Seems a little slave-y to me, even if they are making good money. No one may have a gun to their head forcing them to work, but the economic climate and the volitility of the video game industry means you stay at your job until fired, and hope you get scooped up by another company. Not all gaming devs have tight deadlines. Duke Nukem took 14 years to come out, and one of the top companies Blizzard goes with the "When we have it done right it is done" policy. Besdies, wasn't L.A. Noire already pushed back over a year once?

Sorry that comment was a total nit-pick, but ever point has a counter point.
7 months, 3 weeks ago Bungie teases “Aerospace” and offers free steaks to anyone who beats developers at Halo: Reach
Let me get this straight, If a 4-man squad beasts Bungies 4-man Squad, they will win 2 steaks? But there are 4 people...2 steaks does not feed 4 people. Bungie needs to go over their math on this again. Interesting idea though!
7 months, 3 weeks ago Not a joke: US artist to travel the country playing LOTRO while sealed in a crate
So video games may or may not be art depending on who you ask. But sticking yuorself in a crate to play a game for 7 days is art? Not sure playing video games is more art then video games are art.
7 months, 4 weeks ago Kinect advertising trailer is the most incandescently naive marketing car-crash you may ever see
The "Xbox More" feature would be too bad for Game Trailers and Movie Trailers. Out of the 5 options I believe that this one would be the best. Followed by that voting dealy one. Everyone knows polls are hard to resist, you have to see if others agree with you.

As for sharing ads, How many people can honestly say that they haven't watched a couple ads that people have sent them becasue they were funny/sexy/silly?
