This game looks like trash....to the idiot whos name its not even worth my time to look up again that said you thought picture B looked better, get your friken eyes checked, PLEASE.Espeacially if you are going to be driving on the same roads as me anytime soon.
Also that video that is supposed to be "bashing the PS3" LMFAO thanks for that the whole thing looked like complete unrealistc garbage dump abortion. Lmao you guys do make me laugh though at least. I guess that's why I keep comin back for more, it sure as hell isnt for your oppinions on games, lol or do I say the publishers oppinions' on the games they told you to review? lmao.
Way to fail at "reporting" guys, you took the cake and ate it too on this one, I can't wait until GT finally comes out (and yes I do realize that it's been in "development" forever now, but you know what if it looks real then sign me up because the prologue shot from 2 years ago is a hell of a lot better looking than that forza screen so I know the full game will be the best looking racing game ever made when it comes out) and you guys Im sure will give it a 7 or some gaddamn stupid ass score and say "well a 7 is a good score, I don't know what your problems are" and expect more idiots to just Luuuuv them some GR reveiwers, which they will by the way because most people are retards some just are slightly higher-functioning than others. Anyways I am rambling, but another point I'd like to get out there is that I think it's pretty funny how enamored you guys are with this stupid ass rewind feature, its like the best thing since sliced-bread eh? Well thats funny I thought we were playing a realistic racing sim? It's Hyper-realistic I guess?

LOL yeah well I guess I would be a PS3 fanboy, but really what I like is good games man, that's all I really want regardless of what system they are for.
I just stand more by the PS3 because I don't have to worry if it's going to work the next time I turn it on or not like I would if I had an Xbox, also I know I got way more for my dollars than I ever can with an Xbox.
But hell I don't bear no ill-will , I still love these guys' take on most things (just not so much the reviews, that's all).

First off I noticed you liked the look it up comment I made to another brainless wonder somewhere in here and so you decided to use the same phrase as a tip of your hat to me? Thats wonderful but I am not amused by it, I think you probably were the only one that was. It was a great example of your wonderfully playful originality. Bravo.

The numbers are coming from a website called Metacritic.com (look it up haha see what I did there?) This site gets reveiws from all over and after a weighting process averages out the scores for a total aggregate score. I had thought the purpose of comparing all of the other scores on metacritic to this one was painfully obvious, but I forgive you if you didn't follow the logic.
It's to show how far off this reveiw was when compared to all the others. (Is this stated plainly enough for you to follow?)Do you perhaps need me to send you an outline on this so you will know which section in my reply contains the reasoning you seek?

What reveiws are based upon (fact, emotion,opinion etc.) is totally irrelevent. The fact here is that these reveiw scores affect what people buy, and in turn how game development compaines do, and in turn what kind of games we see as gamers.

Also by the way you wasted quite abit of breath claiming I used a false analogy for this, because I was never using an analogy to compare reveiws.
Just so you see what I mean here is the quote from my earlier post.
"It is actually the basic principle behind acuracy now that I think of it. Imagine a bow and arrow target. The goal of being accurate is to get all of your shots on that target in the same general area, I believe this is reffered to as a grouping or a "tight grouping" which means that if you had 5 shots, that all 5 are very close to one another. Do not confuse this with being precise which would mean your shots are on the bullseye. Anyways imagine now that 4 of your 5 shots are very close to each other, but one of the five has landed clear across the target almost off the target. This is an in-accurate shot. This is what I am saying, this reveiew is the arrow on the very edge of the target. Because this one arrow is so far off perhaps there was a strong gust of wind? A faulty arrow? the reason doesn't even matter the point is this one arrow is so much different from all the others that its result can be thrown out to keep the data sets integrity intact. "

This is comparing the scores of the reveiws, not the reveiws themselves. Also finding fault in this in-accuracy is absolutely correct to do, the data set (the scores of the reveiws) determine the margin of error. As you should be able to see here I am NOT analizing the data (or reveiews) I am simply pointing out that the data from this site is outside the margin of error because it is in-accurate and as good as a non-result. I wish I could elaborate more on this for you but I really gotta get going, I did enjoy this convo tho spectre, have a nice day.

I will go ahead and say thank you for that, also good choices, I have not played them all, but they seem like fine games I guess I was surprised that your 9/10 prototype wasn't on this list though, mayhap you've come to realize your mistake? Surely I jest about all of the above, but it is interesting this new boner for metacritic section is it not?

Can you answer me what the point of having a website or anyone for that matter review games is? It's so people can get an idea of what a game is like before they buy it, which drives sales numbers for these games which by the way is a VERY big deal to companies who make games you idiot.

Because good games should be bought Elpork, they should be bought because then we will get more good games made for us. Do you not understand that when you buy a game, when people spend their money on games, it tells the game makers what people like, and if they did a good job or not, the sales are all that matters don't you get that? So my whole problem here is that because these reviews effect the sales and thus the game makers, and thus in the end me, I unlike the rest of you brainless people actually give a fuck about how fair the reviews are. I know you won't understand but that's ok maybe someone will read this and get it, and that's enough for me. Also not to mention this little nugget for you Elpork, you just posted here complaining that I should not have posted and complained about something. Nice.

Well, here we go now.
Wow only 13 reveiws of prototype at the time I write this on Metacritic and already it sits at a 86...doesn't bode too well. Why do you write a speacial little coment "just for you" metacritic when you are going to be one of the few reveiws this game gets that is so positive? I know none of that matters for you does it Mikel, but that's ok we know how much you loooove this game. At least my intuition about not listening to this sites bull shit reveiws is affirmed and I don't have to worry about that anymore. I just can't believe that a game that looks like complete crap would get a 9 from this place, it even shocked me Mikel! Maybe you are trying to stir up as many responses as the infamous review did? Do you have like a bet with all the other editors/reviewers about how many resposes you can get or something? lol well if you do I like the strategy.

Anyways, back to my original point which is we will see how this all flushes out on Metacritic, but as I said when I see a game like Infamous with 75 reveiws and its at a score of 85 still, I know that is a good game. When I see a game with a score of 86 but only 13 reveiws, I know that score is going to drop down more by the time all the reveiws are in. In the end I am happy with playing Infamous over Prototype, but if you enjoyed the prototype game over the infamous one good for you, you make being wrong look good Mikel lol.
For now though Mikel you should get back to answering the fans of your reveiw like the chap who can't quite seem to figure out if the game has multiplayer or not..... not a big mystery to me why he likes your review so much is it?

I am not sure if Sony has been selling more units per year than microsoft, but I can tell you one thing, the units they did sell to people don't have a freekin 30% failure rate (rrod). Seriously!? That's O.K. with you people!?

Sony has been the far more inventive company, it's too bad the planet is populated by sheep that loooooooove to buy Halo, and pay extra for things that sony gives you out of the box.
Ah hell anyways, good luck to all the gaming companies anyways.....when it all boils down I guess I see it like this anyways, the more competition in the market the better. The more money that gets spent on games (even if its from people buying crap that doesn't even work) the more companies will try and make me a better product to get more of my money, so in the end I will be left with great games and an empty wallet.

Where do you suggest someone go to get a review score on a game? I think most would say Metacritic because it combines alot of the more prevelant webistes/magazines etc in the score and is in general seen as the place to get the best idea on what kind of expierence a game is going to be.
