man, the earliest I remember was getting The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for N64 with $50 in gift cards I had for Toys R Us. I felt so triumphant for being able to buy my own game! And it's also my favorite zelda, too! ^_^
Thank GOD you can't use the riot shield and aim at the same time, because I thought that there would be people sitting in corners hiding behind their shields killing everyone who goes by. It'd be as equally annoying as the MP40's in World at War...
Like many, mine was figuring out how to get past the first loop-de-loop in the first Sonic the Hedgehog on the first level. I tried on about 5 separate occasions to do it, until I realized I had to hold right after about 10 minutes of pondering it. Man, did I feel stupid...
I want to hope that this is it, but I'm not going to take anything to heart right away. I'm going to be hesitant, because I know how the Sonic games have been... I just hope they ditch all the minor characters (Tails alone would be fine, so long as it's like Sonic the Hedgehog 2.) [oh hey, look at that, one of the 2 words I have to type to post this is 'first', even though I'm 46th.]
man, I remember the Dreamcast. Good times at my neighbor's house. Of course, at the time, Sonic Adventure was good. And we were around 8 or 9, so it would still be good if we were still that young... But now I don't think I'd still think it's as good.
ugh... the e-reader. I, like many, fell victim to the incredible commercial. After getting it for $50 and getting two card sets, I was psyched. But after a while, I slowly realized that the reader wasn't going anywhere... And slowly, but surely, I felt like I was ripped off completely. But at least I now learned my lesson about peripherals. Don't buy them, and don't listen to what they say about them!
Well, my TV is cerca-1970, so I will probably end up getting an HD one LONG before I'd get a 3D one. Like, maybe another 30 years. When I have kids. And I'll make them buy me a new one, like how my mom will do to me! :/
