I'm so proud of the fact that I've never bought any of these games and, to be honest, I don't know that I've even played any of them. I almost sat down with my roommmates copy of Spiderman 3 once, but after watching him get pwned repeatedly by that lame quicktime event against Sandman at the end, I thought better of it.
Also, that other Matrix game, zymn, was Path of Neo. It had its fair share of bugs and lousy collision detection, but it was pretty fun overall. A good five-day rental type of game.
Yeah, this type of minion-controlling puzzle solving seems like a natural fit for the Wii special thanks to it's cursor. How well did the original Overlord run on PC compared to PS3/360?
It's a shame to see a classic at an age when it should be put into a home. At least XBL is giving Duke a chance to reach younger audiences. Lord knows 3D realms aren't trying very hard. *grrr*
I completely agree. Everyone does need to play this game, whether it's on 360, PS3 or PC. No one has an excuse to miss out now, but there is only so much replay value in a game that is designed as single-player only. Granted, it does have multiple endings so you can go back and run it a few times, but it certainly doesn't have the staying power of a multiplayer centric game. If you have a three day weekend, go out and rent Bioshock and dive into it. You could probably play through it twice in that time and fully enjoy it.
Say it ain't so Joe, they kept the stupid-ass Jack defense segments in? That makes me sad.
