Pokemon - Took a GBA and Pokemon Gold on holiday with me a couple of weeks ago in the hope of some sunny/nostalgic memories. By the time I was asked what my name was, I already hated it. So much so that the batteries for my GBA are still in the TV remote at the villa I stayed in...

Halo 3 - I played this almost religiously with my housemates in my first year at uni. Every weekday evening was Halotime and a lot of the weekend too. After leaving that house, everytime I pick up the controller to play now I don't get further than the main menu and have to turn it off. For some reason though, I physically unable to trade it in. So it remains on my shelf, slowly gathering dust. I still have nightmares about the HUD as well.
I'll probably still pick up ODST, but whether it'll get completed depends on how different it is to Halo 3.
It's clearly got the potential to be a fun game, moronic hero or not. Though I agree that slaughtering to rap music isn't ideal.
But you people saying that it's going to be rubbish because it's a game about fiddy and the graphics aren't incredible. Ergh.
When did people stop playing games for fun?!
I was nearly exploding at having to wait a few more months for this. But now waiting until the end of next year?!?!
MY FACE IS MELTING!!! DAMN THEM ALL!!
I still maintain GTA4 in first person would be 'teh awesome'. As would the 'hot coffee' part of San Andreas.
Wasn't there a football game on PS1 where you controlled a single player in first person, it was called something like Libre Grande or something equally stupid.
If you look in a recent dictionary, you'll actually see that gay is also defined as a negative adjective.
Who knows the writer could be from 1940 and thought the advert was very 'happy'.
Nah, not scary at all. But so freaking fun. Wish I had money to get this, it's easily the most fun out of all the recent 'AAA' titles released.
Reminds me a lot of Painkiller, but with less awesome guns, but more awesome scenarios. So it's balanced out kind of. But still... A GUN THAT SHOOTS SHURIKEN AND LIGHTNING!
I loved Mafia, it's one of few games that I actually can still remember a lot of the story and gameplay without having played it for five years.
I was ecstatic after hearing a sequel was in the works and now having read that preview I'm positivly insane at the thought of having to wait any longer to play it!
Still, as GR said, could be a white elephant. But I don't see how multiplayer is a 'crucial aspect'.
Looks amusing. Though sadly with the swarm of A-list titles just released and soon to be released this'll probably go un-noticed... Unless Ubisoft advertise it to fook.
