Great review, Matt.

I understand Braid's story

@Duffman while it's hard for small dev teams to compete graphically with big-budget games, they often have the creative freedom to try some really neat — and sometimes risky — core mechanics. Don't give up on indies. On Xbox I'd recommend Wizard's Keep, Soulcaster II, The Tempura of the Dead, Blocks that Matter (mentioned above), and Zombie Estate.

@DirkSteele1 I'm glad to hear you're interested in indie reviews on GR. Maybe I'll try to bug them about including more.

Fun fact: while writing this I looked up the GR review for the PSP version and was surprised to see that I wrote it. I wonder what else I did four years ago?
6 months, 2 weeks ago Witcher 2 Xbox 360 port delayed until early 2012
While we don't have any hard dates for the PS3 version, CD Projekt has hinted that they'll be creating one, but they prefer to work on one version at a time. They'll probably start on the PS3 version after they finish this mess with the Xbox 360 version.
6 months, 3 weeks ago Nintendo reports net loss of $324 million
I think you guys are getting it right: you can't sell a console without any games, and it's still going to be a few months before Nintendo gets games out that I'd have liked to see at launch.

On another note, I've heard Iwata has said that Nintendo is now willing to take a much more supportive role in investing in third-party developers for the 3DS, which is great, but probably related to the company not having as much cash to invest in their own properties as it thought it would.

@Doomzer don't forget Battlespire (between Daggerfall and Morowind). Unfortunately, I couldn't confirm if Howard had been on that team or the Arena team.
