The events of this week hit our offices hard and were very sad for a lot of us. However, this was recorded before those events! I don't think we'll be able to avoid getting maudlin next week, but this week's cast is (maybe inappropriately) peppy.
I'll pre-emptively admit that Resident Evil 4 is the exception to that rule, because it never "died." It was, however, becoming increasingly irrelevant and tired with each successive semi-sequel and spinoff. RE4 made it important again.
Technical problems on the article's backend were dragging down the rest of the site, so it had to come down until we could figure out what happened. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's all fixed now.
By the same publisher (Majesco), but not the same devs. Jaws Unleashed was made by Appaloosa, which also made the Ecco the Dolphin games. This was made by Tectonic, which also made... well, just this, apparently.
Have you tried looking in Cappadocia? There are exactly 12 fragments there, so that's probably where they're hiding. You won't get there until late in the story, though. (And if you've already been there, you can access it again by restarting one of the missions through the DNA menu.)
Also, thanks for pointing out the error. We'll be sure to double-check the rest as well.
The money's used for the same things it was used for in Brotherhood; weapons, landmarks, more shops, etc. The difference this time is that, once you've reached the stage where you've got a ton of otherwise useless cash piling up, you can turn your attention to Mediterranean Defense (the away missions for your Assassins). Once you take over a city, most of the new missions actually cost money to pursue, so bottomless coffers come in handy.
Also, while I didn't buy every weapon in the game, I'm pretty sure the big weapons are still limited to axes and swords; no keeping spears this time, sorry.
But you're right, that was a little excessive of me.
