Is it just me, or does the pic of Glass Joe in front of the Eiffel Tower look kinda like Brett? I mean the jaw line and hair look kinda similar, at least in comparison with Brett's little pic at the top of the page.
To the bosses of GR, I only started reading your site b/c of TalkRadar. I had come across the site a few times when searching for video guides, but never read anything else b/c I was put off by the site layout (sorry).
However, I noticed the little podcast tab on the side, and taking up their "We dare your ass to listen" slogan, I did. At first I was kinda lost because I had no idea what they were talking about, but then I realized that The Top 7 was an article on the site, so I paused the podcast, read the article, enjoyed it, and then resumed the podcast. Then a little while later, they talked about another article they wrote, and again I paused the podcast, went to the site, and read it. It took me a few hours to get through that first episode because I literally read every article they mentioned in the podcast.
Then I noticed that they had a big library of previous podcast, so I went back and downloaded an episode they had referenced on the original episode I heard. Again, they talked about the Top 7, and again I went back and read the article on the site. See a pattern emerging here? I did this for a couple of weeks, listening the podcast and reading the articles they mentioned, but then I was bored one day, so I decided to come look at the site during the middle of the week, and what did I find? Content of the same hilarious quality that is in TalkRadar. Pretty soon I was coming back to the site every couple of days, then everyday, then I made room for you guys in my menu bar bookmarks, and now I come here several times a day, all because I of that first podcast I heard all those months back.
So yeah, you guys may look at the traffic and see that the podcast page itself isn't doing great, but what you fail to realize is that all the heavy traffic on the article pages comes from the fact that people (like me and the at least 5 friends I've recommended this podcast to) listen the podcast.
So that's my 2 cents on the subject. I really wish you would see it my way, and let TalkRadar keep going on and realize what a blessing it is for your site.
