Bayonetta comes out a month before Dante's, so it shouldn't be a problem getting both.

@raist: I think that one becomes accessible when you renovate the mines. The entrance is on the north side of the outer walls, behind where the villa is.

@lnksmartt: We're working on it. Our hidden-glyphs guide, with puzzle solutions, should be up tomorrow. Your patience is appreciated.

@Vagrant Hello there. We've had people suggesting that the volume is too loud and too low but I guess we're just unable to cater for everyone's set-ups. Really sorry for any problems caused.

Quick note - although it says "videos" in the intro, those aren't quite ready yet. We should have them up sometime later this afternoon, though.

@TriforcePlayer: I sort of wish I had, too, but I didn't think about the comparison until the review was already up. So I'll do it here:

In spite of the score disparity, I do think Arkham is a better game (although I'd probably also give Arkham a 10 if it were up to me). Again, though, it's an apples-and-oranges thing; Arkham is a taut, focused adventure in a relatively confined space that messes with your head, and ACII is about tearing ass through a wide-open, convincingly re-created moment in history. Although if the Arkham sequel is structured anything like ACII, I certainly wouldn't complain.

@deathrebellion - We'll put up instructions soon on how to get on the list. We're still working out the best way to get the maximum number of readers a turn to feel our skillz/kick our teeth in.

Thanks for your interest everyone! It's going to be fun.

Just a quick note: I'm always curious when someone signs up for an account just to disagree with something in one of our reviews.

Why? Because you might be amazed to learn how frequently that new user turns out to be someone from the developer or publisher of that game. It's uncanny. And one of the best ways to identify them is to watch them to see if they comment on anything else at all. You know - other stories, other reviews, maybe even previews, screenshots... anything. People from a publisher or developer usually don't. They say one thing and then vanish.

I hope you stick around and make more comments, IknowDS. We have lots of DS reviews. Surely this isn't the only one you've read that's worth talking about?

Damn! I can't say I've seen it, but I thought at least a few people would want this flick. I mean, there are people out there who LOVE the modern Transformers movies, right?

This movie must really be a pile. I feel like I should apologize for threatening to send it to you. Sorry, loyal readers. Didn't mean to scare you.

By the way, Sixboxes, you may want to read the Gauntlet entry again.

Man, I feel all you guys who are suggesting additional games. We actually considered The Simpsons and Centipede and TMNT, along with about a zillion others like Tempest, Defender, Berzerk, Star Castle (just because it was the first arcade game I actually kinda rocked at) and a ton of others. Ultimately though,we had to narrow it down, so we went with those that had the best gameplay and longest-lasting impact.

About Me
I'm the Executive Editor here at GR, which basically means I play the Spock role to our Editorial Director's Captain Kirk. I make sure we publish great stories every day without burning down the building or getting sued. Which isn't nearly as easy as you might imagine.

I'm a fairly average person who has nursed an above average love of video games since I first played Pong just over 30 years ago. I entered the games journalism world as a freelancer and have since been on staff at the magazines Next Generation and PSM before coming over to GamesRadar.

Outside of gaming, I also love music (especially classic metal and hard rock), my lovely wife, my pet pig Bacon, Japanese monster movies, and my dented '89 Ranger pickup truck. I pray sincerely. I cheer for the Bears, Bulls, and White Sox. And behind Tyler Nagata, I am probably the GR staffer least likely to get arrested... again.
