About Me
For starters, I love video games. The first thing I did that was just related to video games was play my Super Nintendo when I was really young. My next console was a Gamecube which really made me open up to gaming. What's funny is that the first game that made me want get involved was some Monkey Ball game. I know, I know, what an awesome game. Now, I have an Xbox 360, which is by far my favorite console. I'm not one of those old gamers who say the best games come from like 1990 or something. I can read about that stuff and it sometimes amuses me, but it's not that good when you don't know what the hell they are even talking about. I'm a young gamer. Also, I only have a little fanboyism in me, mostly rooting for the 360, and disliking the games for Wii. My top 5 favorite games are:
#5 Red Faction: Guerrilla. What a great game. Awesome destruction, fun multiplayer, and pretty good graphics.
#4 The Orange Box. Half-Life, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. What more could you ask for? Well, maybe the next two.
#3 Call of Duty: World at War. I don't know why people hate this game so much, saying things like "I'm getting tired of WWII! Give me something different!" Well guess what? CoD:WaW is different, and the best WWII video game ever made in my opinion. Amazing graphics, awesome multiplayer, good story, and my favorite thing about it: Nazi Zombies.
#2 Batman: Arkham Asylum. This game is amazing. The stealth style is perfect, the combat is EXTREMELY fun, the graphics are awesome, plus, the story for it is awesome. I'm now very glad a Dark Knight video game wasn't made, because I would much more prefer this.
#1 Call of Duty 4. For anyone who has a PC, PS3, or Xbox 360, I suggest that you buy this game. Now! It's too great for words.
Ok, that's my favorites. Let me just say that I have other great games, like Gears 2, Fallout 3, and Mass Effect. The reason they aren't my favs is that I haven't played them that much yet. I don't know why, just haven't. And by the way, I don't hate Halo. My life outside of gaming would consist of school, soccer, baseball, playing music, and track. Well, that's me, but not all of me. By the way, do people play the single player first, then multiplayer (that's how I always do it), or do they start multiplayer and play the single player while they play the multiplayer? Plus, Kenny G can go to hell.
