After putting in almost 500 hrs into the 360 version and only 50 into the PS3(the constant game freezing stopped me from finishing) I'm so stoked so see they expanding on the Fallout universe.
Their capping it at 30 though. Why put the cap so low? Didn't they learn the first time through? Oh well, this is my only day one purchase of the year.
Guitar Hero: Van Halen: Couldn't even give it away
Tony Hawk: RIDE: Piece of sh*t, not surprised
MW2: Glitchiest game of the year
MAG: Fun for about five minutes
Wii "Insert Title Here": Shovel ware for soccer moms
Burger King Games: Hide my achievements from everyone
Assassins Creed 2 for PC: DRM owns your bases
Infinity Ward: Bobby Kotick said get out
What about Dead Rising's character fetch quest. You basically spent the whole game escorting worthless NPC's from one location to another. If it wasn't for the zombie's that game woulda been sh*t!
@xbox rules. You can run the ps3 version as 60fps from the options menu, but it does cause screen tearing.

Not flaming just make sure you know the facts before breathing.
Thanks for the guide fellas. Working my way thru. About halfway now and I can already see I've missed a few. Really wish you could backtrack but I planned on replaying this at least 3x's. Anyone have a PS3 and wants to play MP my PSN ID is: phishhead.
The only gave that I really enjoyed dealing with shopkeepers was Fallout. My locker at my Megaton home is full of useless stuff.
When I would play evil I would totally kill merchants and take all their goods. That should be an option for the completely useless video game vendors. Shot to the head and exploding gibs.
All the magazine's hyped this games mechanics and the flying since it was made by Airtight Games.
Capcom shoulda put it out at Christmas. Probably would sold more than it will now. I might get around to putting it in my Gamefly que just for the trophies but with all the negative reviews I'm in no hurry to ruin my day by playing this game.
Since the servers for the forums are apparently too busy I'll go ahead and post my spell for the Harry Pothead contest.
My spell would be for the Torchlight game on the PC. This spell you would give your pet to cast on any nearby enemies. The spell would be called "GonosyphaherpalAIDS" Basically a lethal combination of gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes and AIDS. It's the gift that keeps on giving and giving. The spell would cause all nearby enemies to break out in rashes, uncontrollable crotch itching, nasty oozing. It spreads fast and there is no cure so it can quite possibly infect all whole dungeon in one fail swoop.
This post is in response to the Tony Hawk signed skateboard. We were asked for our favorite tony hawk moment or memory of him.
When I started skating in 87 my very first pro model was the Tony Hawk bird skull from Powell Peralta. Back in those days there were very few skate companies that had really good team riders and Powell had some of the best. As a kid we would go to the local skate shop and rent any P&P video that came out. Vert skating wasn't something I was good at but Tony Hawk was always progressing and making up tricks on vert.
During the early console generations there were skateboarding games but they were always complete and utter ass. I remember the first time I saw THPS on the Dreamcast and I remember thinking that this is what skateboarding should be like on a console. Unfortunately they ran the game into the ground through later iterations.
I had skated for over 15 years until I was seriously injured while in the military and had to have back surgery. After the surgery it was found out that I had severe nerve damage in my left leg(which for me was the leg I used to control all my flip tricks) and ever since I haven't been able to really get back in skateboarding. It's been hard to adjust to something you spent half your life doing but I still always check out the magazines when I'm at the store or watch videos when the leak online.
I don't think TH Ride is going to progress skateboarding on consoles. In my opinion Activision should've ripped off Skate and went with the realistic controls instead of putting you on a fake skateboard. It will work for the people that do skate but I feel that's about the only people that will care.
I hope this long winded story gets me the signed Tony Hawk board. It will good on my wall.
Thanks T-Dar crew. Can't wait for this Friday's podcast.
@mgkyo666: Yeah, I thought about including Kratos' brother in this. He does have a presence in GoWIII, however minor, but we still don't know much about him other than that he's weaker (and presumably younger) than Kratos, and that he died when he was still a child and grew up in Hades.
It also seems unlikely (but not impossible) that he's a son of Zeus, seeing as they aren't generally known for being weak or dying easily. So while he's related to Kratos, that doesn't necessarily mean he's part of the Olympian family tree.
@Everyone else: The guide's been updated with the new fourth Horn, and the video for the City of Olympia should be updated sometime tomorrow. Thanks again for your patience.
Sure don't! But unless you invented the idea of sharing music, I'm going to bet someone else did it before you. It's not an original idea by any means, not even yours.
Howetzer, if you weren't so obviously a huge fan of the site, I might be a little upset by your tone. But you are, so I'm not. However, I'd like to set a couple things straight.
For the record, I do go to work. We have an office that I commute to every day. 12-hour workdays aren't uncommon for me, and it's rare that I actually get to play a game for a project like this. Most of my time is spent researching and writing feature articles. That's not meant as a complaint, but I thought I should correct your idea of this industry in case you ever try to get a job in it.
It's also a little unfair to say that I've failed. Yes, I missed two chests, and that's embarrassing. But the items inside them do appear again later, so it's not as if the guide is totally incomplete. Finding the maximum available numbers of all four item types created the mistaken impression that I'd found all the items. If that's inconvenienced anyone, then I apologize. The second omission will be fixed shortly.
I'm curious, though - why did you go and click on what's clearly a guide article (more than once) if they're for idiots? I guess I don't understand your reasoning there.
Writing one game music article a day is no sweat considering I've been amassing a collection since third grade. Look at it as a chance to catch some interesting tunes you'd otherwise miss.
As for the multiple posts a day, there's still a "normal" feature every day, plus these smaller posts to make the site move along throughout the afternoon. No more sitting around waiting for the homepage to change once a day. Personally I love it. But I share your sentiment - the features are our strength, and we definitely know won't stop them.
