You should've mentioned in your 'You'll hate' section that, unlike Xbox and PS3, your opponent's hardware effects you. If their PC is a pile of crap and can't handle SF IV your framerate is going to suffer in an online match. Obviously not an issue with consoles since everyone shares the same hardware and the only variable is how good or bad the connection is.
I played the Beta of this and wasn't impressed. The graphics weren't as good as you'd think they were gonna be, the interface felt clunky and I could find a way to assign my L/R camera movements to my keyboard but not my U/D... I'm probably biased from playing Final Fantasy XI too long but it just felt... Awkward.
The game is not hard, you just suck at it. Just beause you can't pull off any moves you get in a huff and call it a bad game when in fact it has one of the most in depth tutorials I've seen (Trial mode)which teach you the basics and advanced stuff. The text is fine on any decent TV, you need to upgrade. I have a cheap 19" LCD and it's fine on that.
Game text is too small? I play on a 19" screen and it's perfect. I've also played it on LCD, Plasma and CRT monitors with no problems. Stop blaming the game when it's your shitty TV.
As soon as I saw Wesker in the trailers for this game I was upset. Not because I don't like Wesker, because I do... But because I knew he would be the last boss and die =( R.I.P Wekser.
Yeah... Except the chainsaw guy has stupid AI meaning you can stand infront of him, then walk past him while he tries to attack thin air and kill him.
Personally I think Capcom forgot about move + shoot, then called it a feature lol. RE isn't a scary game anymore, so no point trying to make it scary with one tiny annoying feature.
I play as Sagat and get called cheap for HK/Uppercut/Tiger Knee'ing people dumb enough to keep jumping into me. Even worse, I got called cheap for using EX Tiger Uppercut then catching them with my ultra otw down! This was after a failed DP by... who was it now... Oh yea! A Ken.
I'm all for a Resi 4 repeat with better graphics... But did it have to be SO similar? Would it have been so hard for Capcom not to use the same gunshot sound effects, shuffling motions, groans and glowing lights around drops? I mean come on...
Slightly sad that the horror is going away from the RE series. I miss having the shit scared out of me by monsters popping out and having little ammo, and dare I say it, I'm starting to miss zombies! I'm sure I'll still love this game though.
