Another way to tackle some of the harder missions is to obtain blast wave which I created by fusing a mastered vital slash with a mastered assault twister. It is essentially a one hit kill for most enemies and can help put a quick end to random encounters. Once you get so far however, this method falters. But I was able to tackle missions like 1-1-(2-6) very easily. It is important to equip the Twisted Headband(I can't remember where I got it) so the attack is not interrupted.
