think i preferred FP more because of the more involving story but i loved TS2. not to mention i loved on a MASSIVE FLUKE rubbing my friends noses in in it, the one medal they couldnt get a gold on... where u were the muscle man and you had to beat blaming zombies... half an fucking hour a survived to get my platinum... my eyes burned... and by the end i was actually glad to be killed because i thought the adrenaline was going to kill me... but the bragging rights were short lived as i still needed a mate to collect the bananas for me on the monkey maze. bastard. |

i think its just my obsessive compulsive nature in terms of physics and the glaring plot holes it left behind, but i couldnt stand the fact cortez quantum leaped in TS2, it just irked me! its for the same reason i recently got annoyed watching old episodes of dragon ball where the moon got blown up... which technically would destroy most life on earth lol i just cant suspend my belief enough for clearly non serious material enough to have fun! these are my issues, not theres though, as im the kinda guy that screams at disney cartoons like the prig i am screaming "THATS NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE! EVEN IN THE REALM OF REALITY IN WHICH YOU'VE GIVEN ME!" lol its a wonder an uber geek like me has a mrs and kids XD |

i have two copies of re4 (wii and gc) and got code v on gc (and my dreamcasdt which is... somewhere) so theres no way im buyin them again. but this is great for people without a copy or have never played and it looks great too! :D |

i thought that would be the case with the wii u, but a shame to have it confirmed. i have about 50 or so gc games n my tv is getting CLUTTERED with consoles, and it sucks i have to keep my wii around just for gc games. also the BG&E news makes me wanna cry... i agree, this teasing is killing me, just fuckin cancel it already and stop toying with my emotions! |

i was initially disappointed by the conference, just as i was expecting SO much... but i let the disappointment fade and actually think about what i'd do with the controller... that FBI evidence tool in condemned>>> hold it over the screen to highlighjt and interact with evidence. a Bombspy like device that can be controlled via an in game remote while keepin an eye on ur character. for people saying it'd be no good for games like COD arent thinking outside the box. who said you have to keep looking at the screen OR the tv... im sure game designers (and i hope) will be clever enough not to just have a radar. ghost recon wouldnt have a simple radar, it had a realtime isometric view of the action... you can see who is where, what theyre doing and be able to react in time to an attack you might have missed; no switchin back to the tv at a crucial point, just shoot them in third person... skilled players will have no problem making quick reactions on the second screen, as reported, the Wii u (awful... awful name) streams just as fast as its onscreen counterpart, meaning there is no lag in responses. and thats just one use, u could call up your predator drone without having to worry about being shot at while in cover.... the Wii U can stream a map of your area in the predators view and u can select with a quick button push where to send your shot while still seeing whos around to attack you. would be pretty awesome way to control hammer of dawn too (i know thats a 360 exclusive, its just an example) with infra red 360 degree top down view of your area, and simply drag your finger along the screen to emit the laser. also i hate it when people say things like "x box/ps3 owners wont buy this." dont assume to speak for all of us, i have an n64, a Ds, a wii, an x box360 and a ps2 sat around my tv, dont tell me what i would and wouldnt buy. im just happy to have another great console for me to (eventually) get. i was gonna get a ps3 at the end of the year for its exclusives (been amazing as of late) but whether i wait another few years for a ps3 (and catch up with the ps4 late next generation... which looks like a WAY off)greatly depends on the launch titles for this... for now i sit and wait, but just IMAGINING the possibilities of what they COULD (hey if even levine is letting his mind go free so can i!) do with the machine means that if i do own this, im more likely to buy the wii u version if the controller is implemented well or its just technically better (remains to be seen!) with so much rumour and conjecture it's funny how the anti nintendo's get SO worked up. i have my favourite consoles; 360 is my common most played, but i still have favourites on my wii i still like to play, and even back as far as my gamecube games i still play. its pointless to hate a company based on its weaknesses when you can enjoy them all because of their strengths... |

@drakonisnegatum they showcased finger tracking which will be used in FPSs... and erm... fro drawing waggly lines around photos... still not as accurate as a controller though so i dont see the point @jessup the comment about weapon customisation wasnt a direct attack on its overall impact, but as the article points out, a lack of understanding of the core gamer and what WE COULD WANT from kinect. ive had a look at my 360 collection and imagined what i would do with kinect... im telling u, waving my arms around to do something i can do on a controller (with a lot of features, quicker)isnt one of them. i appreciate its not easy... pick a game out ur collection at random and think of innovative ways to enhance gameplay... and i do mean enhance, and not just an alternate way of doing something you can do with a pad. developers are getting to caught up in how they can improve whats already there and not thinking outside the box. if they want me to buy a kinect, i should buy it over the ps3 equivalent because it has EXTRAS. the kinect should add additional stuff into existing games for us to want to pick this up rather than us thinking "meh.... for that price i think i'll just stick to playing mass effect with a pad!" MAKE ME WANT IT MICROSOFT!* *unlikely... i REALLY dont want it... u frat-twats make me hate it even more with unbridled passion* **unless u made a fighting game where i can beat up the frat twats |

admittedly while playing mass effect i do find myself shouting "GET BEHIND FUCKING COVER GARRUS!" or "JACK, USE THE DAMN WARP U USELESS VAGINAL SURROUNDING!" so i can see the implications... but voice dialogue selection.... get lost microsoft, ive been a fan for years, dont be a condescending twat! im not a feebled cave dwelling primitave "AMAZED" by the magic of what your wonder technology can do. apply it in a way that interests me, and thats isnt slower or less intuitive than pressing a button. in reality its just not going to make me buy kinect. a simple interface and better AI would suffice; shit, i still play freedom fighters after all these years (mmmmm freedom fighters HD sequel.... make it so!) ryse doesnt excite me. i mean it looks alright n all, but looks like another on rails slice em up, i want FREEDOM! |
