Yeah but then Chris had a skinny boy scout attitude and later became the Vin Vanne-sly Clintsenegger of the Resi world. Leon was the rookie useless cop who couldn't even dodge a bullet from an untrained scientist, to the poor-joke making bastard lovechild of Mcgyver and Jack Bauer. Who's to say what direction they'd take Hunk to gain new fans! They've already admitted new guy is a money spinner for the new younger crowd, personality is amoot point! Unfortunately, Jessie J and Capcom don't share a fiendly motto, it definitely is all about the... no, i won't lower myself to finish that line

not even gonna look through these comments to hear the inevitable Nntendo slagging! I love all the Companies (Hell, I even wanted an Atari Jaguar back n the day!) but it's Nintendo who gtthe most abuse, and I can almost guarantee that most of the derogitory comments about them here won't be addressing the valid points the article makes about them, butrather addressing their own issues with them and why they don't deserve to win!

I was te opposite, found insane to have more difficult spikesb througout as a vanguard and infiltrator because of the medium armour, but because of the class specific powers, the derelict reaper was a godsend! I just went invisible/blasted them away when my shield went down. *phew*

The Merchant is a TERRIBLE idea lol I'd stop playing Resi if this is the case! He was cornish! because he has gloves and he liked money is themost tenuous link I've ever heard! I'd prefer it as the dog Leon rescued in disguise who is secretly Ameterasu in disguise. I'm pretty sure i saw Ichi jumping inside Sherry's cleavage...

I'm going for Hunk or Alex. I'd love to take control of a Wesker character myself. But then I'd love to see Hunk in his own story! But if Alex is a good guy, who'd be the big bad? :o interesting...

But could still see Capcom keeping it a secret WHOEVER iti. of curse they're ging to say it's Chris and Leon. We can SEE that. But they're always going to keep some secrets-Sherry was leaked out, but this was always going to be the bigger question

Love this article! Can totally agree. It's not just the difficulty, it's when cheap tricks are used to exten the difficulty. Like in Freedom figters, I'd rather play on normal simply because i get annoyed that i can use a sniper rifle on the head of larger enemies and it takes two shots. WTF? They're human and they have no helmet! At the end of the day, I want a challenge, but at the same time I still want to enjoy the game. If the gameplay outdoes the difficulty I'm willing to tone it down. Prototype was a good case. That had horrendous difficulty spikes in certain places which was annoying because I really preffered it in hard mode, so i turn it down to normal. But then I don't play Zelda for it's immense difficulty... but then would still like it to be harder

Some are quick to point out that ten years after Raccoon City puts this before Resident Evil 5... but then, Resident Evil 3 took place before AND after Resi 2, No reason 6 can't do the same :)

Havn't Capcom now confirmed thee's a third character? Which would kinda suggest it isn't Leon. But any convo about it not looking like Hunk is moot really, I mean, does Re 6 Chris look anything like pre-reboot RE Chris? Even between Re 1 and CV:X Chris totally changed
