I really doubt they'd port it, Z-man. The point of the black and white visuals is that wii games can't look good in comparasion to 360/ps3 if they have a realistic art style. If it was ported, then the games most astounding feature is useless.
Great review. I plan on getting this game by the end of the week. The fact that you didn't bother to mention the multiplayer mode makes me think that it's not worthwhile at all. Is it even remotely fun??
Nice comeback, Brett. n_n" Geez, some people get pissed quick. >.> While it is true that this game has some flaws, It's still good enough to pick up. It's not such a touchy subject. -__-
......Actually, Sonic has already been in space in Sonic Adventure 2. =3 lol, anywyas, this game seems to be getting several mixed emotions among fans. Personally, I think handing sonic a sword is the right way to go, since he could cut down enemies without ever needing to slow down. From what I've just read here though, it seems like you'll actually have to stop and fight. (sigh) Whatever, at least the speed looks good from the trailers, but ohh god the new theme song sucks! Geez. It only sounds good in the US trailer, where the singer's voice is replaced with an orchestra. Sweet. n_n
....They didn't put much thought into it, did they? I guess that's to be expected. Good review, Ken. (I bet it was tough writing about it enough to fill up a decent portion of the page, huh?)
So, uhh.... why the bargain price? Is it a crappy game? I've seen gameplay videos and it looked decent enough. Seriously, I don't even know what to think about this game. XD
I see what you mean, Razorwire, but creating a new handheld, or even a VASTLY different one right now would be suicide for Nintendo. You see, Japan has reached a sort of saturation point (as mentioned previously in this same article) in terms of hardware sales. I think it was stated that there's about one in each household. If a new, vastly differentiated console would to be launched, or even announced, it would make the entire DS franchise obsolete. All the games currently shelved in stores, shipping out, or even being developed would never be purchased, and whoop-di-do! Nintendo loses Money, markets, and trust.
I thought something like this would happen. High Voltage doesn't have the best record for shoveling out quality games, now, does it? Thankfully, the majority of gamers who plan to pick this one up are only interested in the online multiplayer (myself included). This one surley won't dissapoint.
This is the first Castlevania game I've ever played. It's giving me a pretty hard time! n_n Can't complain though. I'm that the game won't let me down, if anything I might let IT down! In your honor, Brett, I won't give up though! XD (the harbor was the best looking scene in a DS game I've had the pleasure of witnessing since Ninja Gaiden DS. Glad you brought it up. =] )
Yeah! you guys kick so much ass! Thanks. Looks like I'm the first to comment, sweet. I'm going to refer as many people as I can here, just you wait. I'll get you at least 3 new members.
