A simple solution, make developers put a simple 2.1, 2.2,+ on their apps,and add the ability to search the android app store by OS version (different sections for what each OS is capable of running) almost like PC games have XP+, Vista+, and soon 7+

GR’s Weekend Giveaway: Okami wolf shirts!
I find this amazing that you'd give it up, because we all know how much GR loves Okami....now for the sob story. This will heal the wounds of my Wii, Tv, $$$, etc. being stolen...the worst part? THE ONLY GAME THEY TOOK WAS OKAMI....I was 40+ hours into the game....need to pick it up again pretty soon.
