this feature really sums it up for me, i wasn't very sure about buying one just in case it turns out to be good, but i remember watching last years e3 with Natal, with the racing game and all that compared to Kinect, it really is a lot more limited, i knew there was another reason i never liked Kinect apart from shovelware, see the thing with the wii was, it never persuaded me to buy it until SSBB came out, theres a game for everyone on the wii, even if theres only one i can guarantee there will be though, with Kinect though i really dont see there being a game even for me, and i have a wide range of games that i like but i dont like to stand up and jump around and it seems like thats All Kinect is able to do, FPS's would be Odd without a controller, driving games would be odd without a controller, i think even a RTS would be strange without a controller, in command and conquer when your about to set of your best weapon, u push the button down with force and it feels great and how the hell do you pause a Kinect game?! i feel this will be like a more expensive eyetoy, just a few games for it and then its gone.


Epic Fail to Microsoft, and i'm no ps3 fanboy, i've only got 8 ps3 games while i've got over 50 360 games, its like Nintendo Wii all over again but at least the wii is much better now.

N64 for me, my older brother had the NES and SNES, so it was really the first time in my life that i knew games advanced and got a hell of a lot more complicated, the controller was Crazy, all those different colours, and it did live up to its hype, smb64 & Both Zelda's were genius and it really was the first time having 4 freinds bringing over their controllers and playing golden eye, starfox and super smash bro's.

i purchased my PS3 for this game, then the release date got held back once again ! i've had the PS3 for about one and a half years, i seen amazon uk says November 2nd so hopefully i'll be playing the same day as you guys :)

i've got my hd tv, that i use for the pc, xbox and ps3, my ps2 is still wired up to my other tv that my wii is used for, standard def because they both look horrible on a hd screen,though the last game i got was vice city stories for it, that was years ago now !

its just a safety precaution, nothing to actually get worried about, its like when alot of games tell u not to play for more than 6 hours because that can have all sorts of side effects, thing is i'm sure all of us here have had longer than 6 hour sessions on games without a 15 minute break, its just incase anyone wants to sue they have to say these things, i've been drunk and seen a 3d movie and that was pretty good, the technology is the same in the cinema as it is tv's.

the sad thing is if there is alot more money to be made from things like this rather than a gamers game then in 10 years time or so this is all there will be.

no final fantasy but instead Just Dance XII, no wonder nintendo is doing so well, there selling a console which is to be honest a ten year old system with motion controls so producing it is very cheap, much cheaper than the selling price anyway, nintendo are the smartest company in the video game industry, they've probably made much more than xbox and playstation, you could say i'm a bit of a fanboy because i did grow up with nintendo ever since i could remember playing snes with my elder brother but i dont play wii nearly as much as my 360 or playstation for obvious reasons, the majority of games are shit, its a sad day for us real gamers, but an almighty good one for these casual gamers that i've never seen in my life.

i still really like the DS though.

something similar happened on the forza 3 forums.

alot of the racing cars (r3 and up) never showed any interior gauges working, like a dead cockpit, everyone on the thread was just asking if they would later patch this to make the game more realistic, eventually not one reply from turn ten and in the end the thread got deleted and anyone who opened a similar thread either got banned or also deleted.

bungie has however replied on page 13, so atleast they answered in the end, turn ten couldn't even say no...

i liked this article, i must admit when me and my girlfriend first got together a few years ago she said she liked games too, i was a bit sexist about that until she ripped me at metal gear solid 2.

she's even good with mw2 and owns me in little big planet hell she completed bioshock faster than i did.

girl gamers have the stuff to do well, and i also felt Real girl gamers were put in the shadow of everyone's interest

i must say burnout paradises dlc was my favourite, everything felt like it was worth it and i can't say that for many games that i've purchased dlc for.

its pretty true what you said, Pokemon for me has stood the test of time, i can't even remember what got me into Pokemon, i was about 7 if Pokemon blue and red where released in 96, i can't remember clearly but i do remember playing red and blue a lot and even on n64 thanks to Nintendo's adapter for Pokemon stadium, i was stunned to see fire red on the GBA when it was re-released it looked so much better so I'm really looking forward to seeing this face lift for Pokemon gold, especially since i can barely remember a thing about it all i remember is the bellsprout tower, looking forward to reliving my childhood tomorrow.

i don't know what they were thinking here, what makes this pack any different from MW & WAW's map packs ? after seeing what you can get for the price I'd much rather buy battlefield 1943 myself.

Also if two of the maps are from MW then aren't you just technically buying 3 maps for double their price ? the game was expensive enough to buy, they don't need to ram the prices of there maps as well.

Yeah, my hype for this game has faded, i don't even care when its coming out anymore, I'm doing well with forza 3 but i know one thing for sure when it does come out it will be the perfect driving simulator, i mean I'm sure that's what all the gt fans are expecting after this constant on and off release dates.

Its going to be one of these games that push the boundries of this gens gaming consoles and set an entire new level, saying that however i know the game will be a masterpiece when it comes out, a lot better than forza 3 with its shady interior views with racing huds not working on many r class cars but the thing is I'm happy with it for now, so I've got no hype at all for this game anymore.

looks pretty cool, i've got spare points so i think i'll just go on xbox live and get it.

there is a half life 2 mod which is golden-eye n64 style, surprised that wasn't mentioned either, its great fun

i'm still sticking with xp, its a lovely OS.

personally i dont see there being any point in having 6 screens, i mean it would ruin the gameplay having a big line in the middle of the screen with another two lines horizontally. and you'd get a monitor or lcd tv the same size for a forth of the price. just fancy show off shit that any normal thinking gamer would avoid.
