All the soldier people(Kaiden, Ashley, Jacob) were rubbish and this one looks like a human version of Donkey Kong, so I'm not expecting much. Fun Fact: On my pc in ME1, I was in the middle of a gunfight with a Colossus and some Geth, only to find Kaiden ran off somewhere. After I finishing the fight with just Wrex as the only member in my party, I ran off looking for him; only to find him face down in a pool of lava. They don't train soldiers that well in the future it seems :P |

Chell got dragged from the Aperture Science car park at the end of Portal 1 by something resembling Atlas did she not? I take it this must be what would have happened if Chell got away at the end of Portal 1. :/ Amazing otherwise :D |

The lack of ps3 - pc save file compatibility kinda sucks, but suppose it would have required a fair bit of effort to get it working (seeing as ps3 and source games have their own save formats). Still have the ps3 version pre-ordered nonetheless :) |

I totally agree however i admit i hacked my psp to play snes, gameboy, n64 (etc) games on it. If only there was a programming language for each console that took full power of each system, then geohot and the hacker people wouldnt have to hack the systems and comprimise the industry. Obviously Sony, Nintendo etc would have to have some sort of screening process before such applications could be added to the system (like Xbox's indie games when they are developed with XNA) to prevent any dodgy software being let loose on the system. |

Now that is 1st-class bullshit. Black ops aside, i barely play any other multiplayer atm. When im not playing Black ops, im playing World of Goo, Fallout: NV, Poker Night at the Inventory, Red Dead Redemption (which I don't play the online for) and I'm eagerly awaiting the Back to the Future games that Telltale are due to come out this month. Just when I started to think EA were better than Activision, they show that all they are after is money. While I can see that they are a business and profit should be a high priority, would it hurt to make a new innovative IP? I realise this is slightly hypocritical of me as i am playing black ops - which is indeed pretty much the same game in different packaging - but i only need one online game to keep me playing with my live chums and black ops seemed like the good choice - however was surprised with the Reznov twist in the single player campaign! |

Pfft there are a few... Chef's Love Shack (Awful game but somehow i keep playing it now and again with friends) Dragonball z Budokai and Tenkaichi series and of course Dead or Alive... for the combat...obviously :P |

@nadrewod999: Yeah I saw that quote on CVG, which leads me to believe its indeed a new game/series. Would be interesting if Valve moved from their FPS roots to something else... as long as its not Half-life Wars or something awful... to take a game like Halo which I already don't like and make it worse was an impressive feat... |

I highly suspect that Valve are going to announce a completely new game. Valve have not made a wholy new game since left 4 dead, and even that was basically a standard shooter with impressive spawning technology. Maybe even just announce Source engine 2 :P I'd like a look at Metal Gear Rising as well, even though I suspect it may be Kojima's worst game yet... |

While I agree with most here, I definately disagree with final fantasy 12. It was the worst in the entire franchise and possibly the laziest game in the world. You can actually just move the left analogue stick forward while all your characters just fought automatically using that Gambit system. Also I wouldn't remake 7, it's story has been re-visited too many times with the likes of crisis core and dirge of cerberus (the former I quite enjoyed, the latter not so much). Remake number 8 or 9, easily the strongest in the series. Also I second Timesplitters 2!:D |

@Rhymenocerous: Tomb Raider 2 eh? I only played that to lock the butler in the fridge :D When I was wee the Tombi 1 demo was my favorite demo ever, I played that pig-wrestling masterpiece for years but it became stupidly rare and when I did eventually get it, it was let down... because I'd out grown it :( but yeah back on topic, MGS2 was deserving of best demo, namely because it's easily the best bit of the game :D |

Just put custom firmware on your psp! Takes a bit of work to get the games working from your discs(Final fantasy 8 needs ppf patches or something to get them working) but its worth it! |

As long as the 50's vibe is still there, the story is intriguing enough and the combat provides something new over the first then I'm sold :D maybe at the beginning of the game you can choose which ending you picked from the last game :S although a LOT of dialogue would have to be done to compensate for the two different endings... |

Regenerators definately, especially the one when u are stuck in the big freezer with one! One of the few times I have been scared in a game. Or the really skinny, fast zombies in hal-life 2, i really wasn't expecting it when it dived after me lol |
