i got my expert gold star in vocal trophy for Cannibal Corpse, and have gold starred 6 or so songs on expert.

i like to plug the microphone in, turn the sensitivity to full, and put it next to the speakers, so that i can have vocals while just playing guitar.

its good, but i enjoy the free-exploration of Oblivion and Fallout much more.

the world just seems too small and restricted. and during my first period in the castle (human nobleman), some of the loading screens told me that i had already explored 5% of the world.

the DLC is sort of forced upon you, quests that are DLC based shouldnt appear as quests before you have downloaded the DLC.

not exactly worthy of a nine. maybe a 7.5-8

even if you spot hundreds there could be some obscure crap thats not really possible to solve.

i like the bleach one, and dead space, and half life and monkey ball and gears of war and... hell, theres just too many great ones. awesome contest, but totally evil.

killzone 2 is well overrated. id give it a 7.
no replay value, online is mostly just chaos, and is completed very quickly.

i played the demo for red faction and decided to only buy it if found in a bargain-bin.

street fighter 4 is a good game, but also overrated. playing online is a bitch (everyone just spams tigerpunch with sagat, making fights boring), seth is the cheapest boss ever (i did beat arcade on hardest though, and he wasnt that much more of an ass there than he is on normal), but worst of all is that should you hope to do well in the game, you have to buy an arcade stick.
i will not shell out $100 for a peripheral that is usefull for only one game (VF5 and tekken works perfectly with regular pads).

i doubt this will be any good.

it seems like a good idea for downhill racing, but kickflips and other flip tricks arent performed by actually flipping the board. but by what? placing your foot over some sensor?

and its a TH game for crying out loud, TH as in Tony Hawk.

even with the peripheral, i think Skate's analouge-flick will feel a hell of a lot more authentic and real than this will.

damn it. Final Fantasy VII is available in the japanese PS store. playable on both ps3 and psp, for 1500 yen.

hope itll be available in the european PS store or the american one for that matter. as long as its made available in english.

DMC 3 isthe best game in the series, the first is awesome, the fourth is really good, and the second sucks giant, wet donkey balls. on my very first run-through of DMC 2 i used little more than, what, 3 hours.

megaton was simply too useful to nuke, so i killed that asshole instead. and his dead body lay over the table for over a day intil someone removed him. apparantly, NPC have no sense of smell.

in the past ive been using Abysmal Corpse, and am currently using Phantasmagorial. both are hinting towards songs i like.

my PSN is Eye-Licker, which yet again is a song from one of my fave bands.

i do this mainly to maybe get a reaction from someone who recognizes it, just to see. no one has yet. XD lol

Cernunnos is an ancient french god of hunting, a man with horns. it basically just means "the horned god."
though i took it from a character in my favourite series of books. :)

GTA IV is far better than san andreas, if only GTA IV had the hydra (or any other plane) it would be perfect.

GTA IV coming to 360 WAS a fan-service. at that time, how many people owned ps3-s? and how many of those were likely to be GTA-fans? by making it multiplatform they made it accesible to more fans, much more fans.

MS dont buy exclusives to screw sony or its fans over, but to ensure the 360 a good line-up. seing as the sales for the ps3 would have most likely been halved had it not been for MGS4, everyone can see the power of good exclusives.

if anyone is evil, its sony. basically saying they want costumers to sell their kidney in order to afford a ps3, claiming it to be oh-so unique and then copying almost every aspect of the 360's functions with firmware updates.

the customers are number 1, which is WHY rockstar favoured the 360, it has bigger install base, hence more GTA fans (and money, of course).

the built-in wireless in ps3 is crap. with my wireless adapter for the 360 i get roughly 75% signal strength, with the ps3 its 50.

there are just as many assholes on PSN, only difference is that there it seems to be more in the elitism and snobbery direction.

its good that MS buys exclusives, how the hell is it bad?

the pseudo-mmo crap combat system is appaling. the story isnt anywhere as good as IV, VII, IX and X. the characters arent half as memorable or likeable. it has no personality, none.

wrong. the wheel stops when the same face appears on both sides of the dmw during combat.
other than that, great review, agree almost completely.

i do prefer turn-based, and i was a little dissapointed that it wasnt the remake i first thought it was when i heard about it, but i simply love it.

and while i usually hate any RPG combat that isnt turn-based (like FFXII's horrible pseudo-MMO crap), i genuinly liked this one.

good going Square.

(i hope the inevitable FFVII remake will be for PSP, not ps3. i have a feeling that game would work absolutely great on a PSP.)

haha, gamesradar cant hate rpgs, they fluffed it. all in all i think there were more like 85. lol

i like the reading part of RPGs, and turn-based combat is the best there is, not the pseudo-mmo-crap from FFXII, but from FFX (not the time-restricted turn-based one from earlier FFs either, that sucks too.)
i love what theyve done with crisis core though.

the spheregrid was king, allowing for deeper customisation of skills than before.

grinding is such a bitch, innit?

i dont think the teddy bear is used for anything. children's toys are used as a tool to make the ramafications of war stand out. its used to make people realise how horrible war is. and its not just teddy bears, although they and dolls are most commonly used.

cant wait for this, especially the MP.

people can choose not to like Halo, but saying the story is bad is a decleration of having downs syndrome. halo's story is up there with Deus Ex, System Shock 2 and definately Half Life 2.

Halo's story is one of the biggest in gaming history, its bigger than LoTR.
CoD's(assuming meaning MW) story was like a bad, bad tom clancy novel and the only good part about it was Cpt. Price. luckilly the online MP was extremely good.


World of Warcraft sucks, why play a game that plays itself?
