Technically, that's not correct...
I hope the author realizes that the Spartan Laser was never fired in a vacuum. that picture is on one of the rings, inside of the rings atmosphere. Never is the laser used in space, there for, the author it technically wrong.

I've actually read all of them and found them very good reads (except for the second one that pretty much outlined halo 1. why did i want to read what I could just play), but I'm pretty big into halo's story

I didn't really see anything wrong with the gravemind. Playing as the arbiter more then the master chief is where it jumped the shark for me. but the flood is the whole basis of the entire halo story (as halo's exist to defeat the flood)

the bionic commando thing made me think even less of that game, which I didn't think could happen. thanks GR!

Loved the first one. if the bugs are the same, I think they are being to critical because they didn't ruin the first for me, and probably wont ruin the second either. Will definantly get this if I can afford it (if not I will have to get it via gamefly.)

I live in florida so I've seen that comercial a lot. Whats bad is they made a decent looking "game" for this commercial, but when the commercials for a school that offers video game design comes on and look like crap compared to an anti-smoking ad, it makes me laugh.

Sargent Johnson is another one that is pretty well known. If we are just talking about smoking of any sort, Little Jacob from GTA4.

I'm glad that im not the only one thats going to say that okami looked more interesting before the style change. I'd consider the original, not what was actually released.

about the halo storyline, yes, I am pretty invested in the halo story, its a very good one. I own all 6 novels and they are great (and are not needed to get the storyline what so ever, but expands on the story).

I personally don't get why people are confused by halo's story, but then again, don't know why people think the last 2 matrix movies have no plot.

I'm middle road on this one. I liked the first L4D, but like portal, didn't see it as the hit everyone said it was. Killing zombies is fun, but never once did i get that gut wrenching feeling you should get from a zombie game. it wasn't scary. it was a good run and gun shooter, but wasn't scary. the lack of plot also made it lackluster in my eyes. i like narrative. I also hated all the times they warn you that when you activate this the horde was going to come, instead of making it a surprise, they tell you to brace yourself. would have made it much scarier if they didn't do that. plus, the safe houses ruined the mood. you make it to a safe house and it place the little jingle, killing the feeling of helplessness you just got while trying to get there.

So, if they can improve largely on the first (which from what I've seen, they haven't) then i will give it a go. if its just L4D again, then i pass. I don't play the first one enough to warrant the purchase of the second.

About Me
I play games at least 6 hours a day i would guess. I have a 360, xbox, and ps1. I cant really say what my favorite game is, but for now i would have to place it on fallout 3, but there are so many good games that its a very hard choice.
