I agree with the Control Issues complaint, my biggest problem with the latest sports games is the 3 page instruction manuals. For example; MLB The Show, don't get me wrong I think the game is awesome, but a lot of the pitchers statistics when I'm batting confuse me along with other gameplay tips that aren't explained. I don't want to have to buy a strategy guide just to PLAY the game. It seems the creators just cater to Sports fans and not someone that just picks the game up to try. I'm sure that hinders new players from buying them.
Here's a little fun fact I know of. Burgess Meredith had quit smoking before playing the part of The Penguin for the TV series. When he had to cough he turned the sound into the "Quack, Quack" and it stuck.
I thought for sure you guys would have included a story about Virtual Magic Kingdom this week. It was Disney's promotional MMO that they closed down because they weren't making any money on it, which in turn broke a lot of childrens hearts.
Went to the store to buy my first console, the PS1 not knowing that you need a memory card. Bought my first game took it home got everything hooked up. unwrap the game load it not realizing I couldn't save anything and then a voice fills my ears. RESIDENT EVIL a few minutes later GAME OVER. WTF I have to start over.
I am an artist currently drawing cartoons for a local newspaper.
I enjoy movies(too many favorites to list), watching TV(NASCAR, Prisonbreak, The Shield, Las Vegas, Firefly, Buffy) and playing video games(God of War, Tiger Woods, Final Fantasy, GTA, Metal Gear) . I have a PS2, and PS3(I have over 150 games combined).
I think this site is the best for info on new games and the articles are hilarious. Keep up the good work!
