Darkwatch. That game was straight ganked from the Halo template. Before regenerating health was the popular thing to do, Darkwatch copied it, along with controls, weapons, and even system menus that were mirror imitations. It was almost fun to point out each little thing that mimicked Halo.

@Cyberninja good to know that getting first comment was worth posting before you actually read the entire article, dickhead. As for not imagining games with just words, it sounds like you haven't been into games nearly long enough to appreciate this site.

As for the 360 laser burning...I worked at a retail store and received countless 360 games in my section that the front desk had taken in as defective...it's really sad that people are getting rewarded with new copies instead of learning from their mistakes.

As for the list, it gave me a good feeling to think back to Bioshock, and the revelation that your entire journey had been controlled by someone else. Absolutely brilliant storytelling. It's a prime example of why games are such good mediums for it...if you were to watch a movie or read a book with Bioshock's plot, the twist would surely still be impressive...but to find out that you, yourself, are the one who has been running errands for others without even realizing it...that's powerful.
