Even though I've never played a RE game withtrue zombies so I don't know how good/bad they are, I still think I'll miss the Ganado and Majini enemies, though the giant thing and those tentacles sure look cool. If it's scary and if there is no coop/AI partners, I'll be sold.

I think that Dead Island should have been delayed. It's a great game but it had some issues with pop-up, sound looping, and other small details.
2 months ago Alan Wake’s American Nightmare awakens on Xbox Live early next year
Oh, wow. This looks amazing. Alan Wake is my favorite game, and I loved The Signal and The Writer, so I'm very confident in their abilities.

What about BioShock?
2 months, 1 week ago GamesRadar editors’ (personal) Games of the Year 2011
Yeah, Dead Space 2 was crazy awesome, but...what boss fights are you talking about? The first game had the Hunter, the Leviathan, the Slug, and the Hive Mind, but I think DS2 only had the Tormentor, the Ubermorph, and that...interesting fight at the end. There were tripods, to be sure, but wouldn't those be mini-bosses, however great they were? Maybe I'm mistaken. It sure was a great game though.

This is great news! I'm hoping they took care of the audio looping issues and pop-up, too. This game is awesome, but it did need an update.

The infamous mannequins in Condemned give me quite a shock, but the farmhouse level was sadistiacally tense, especially since you had to put away your flashlight to follow the trails. Alan Wake also scared me a few times, like the intense scene when Rusty was taken, or the escape from Cauldron Lake Lodge. Then there was Dr. Steinman's insane rant in BioShock, pretty much all of SH2, the first half of the Wade Elementary level in FEAR 2 (before the soldiers arrived), and so many others. Man, I love horror games!

Honestly, I thought Pyramid Head sounded kind of silly...until I saw him. Now I actually think he looks scary/intimidating.

I actually liked Dr. Steinman about as much if not more than Cohen, personally. Gil Alexander comes to mind, too, even if he wasn't quite Cohen or Steinman. Also, what about Alan Wake? Yeah, it's possible he may not be crazy; but if he is, then his insanity made him walk through a ferris wheel of memories, hallucinate(?) a giant two-headed parade float, and fight a poltergeist-infested armada of floating, babbling TVs. Or James, Eddy, or Angela from Silent Hill 2? The whole game was based on James' psychological trouble, Eddy gradually revealed his insanity nearly every time you saw him, and Angela had her own problems. And although I'm not currently a fan of Arkham Asylum personally, it seems like Joker or Scarecrow would be some top choices for this list. I'm not complaining (it was a good list), just offering my two-cents' worth.
4 months, 2 weeks ago Resistance 3 review
I'm really glad to hear some good things about this game. GameInformer's review had me quite worried; I mean I try to take reviews with a grain of salt, but this is all I've heard of the game so far regarding quality.
About Me
I am a huge survival horror fan. I have an XBox 360 and a Gamecube. BioShock, Silent Hill 2, Alan Wake, Dead Rising and Fallout 3/New Vegas are my favorite games/series' (no, I didn't forget Halo or Call of Duty...they didn't make my list) I would like to mention Alan Wake again, since it is an amazing game that I would consider to be along the lines of BioShock as far as immersion and story are concerned, not to mention soundtrack. I also listen to a LOT of Christian metal bands like Woe of Tyrants, In the Midst of Lions, With Faith or Flames, and A Plea for Purging (note: I refer to bands with Christian members and lyrics as "Christian bands" regardless of the accuracy of that statement. It just doesn't take as long to write.)
