I'm sorry if someone already said this, but I was hoping in the "Is it better than..." section you would have compaired MW3 to Battlefield 3. I know that you guys gave BF3 an 8, but I feel the comparison is olbigatory. Otherwise, sweet review, brah.
Although you guys covered a few things I missed, I feel like you left out a lot, like you were only scratching the surface. Also, where's the endless speculation I've come to know and love from these features?
Did anyone else catch the blimp at the very end next to the "T" in the Theft? Imagine if we to fly one of those? It's goning to be THRILLING. No, but, really, I am pumped for this game. Wicked excited.
The first time I played Gears of War, at the end of Act 1 I had retreated into the building only to accidentally skip the cutscene where the game introduces the Berserker. When the Berserker suddenly burst through the wall I was paralyzed. I just watched only to see it obliterate Marcus a second later. I stopped playing for the rest of the evening.
I was going to only write "Poop" at first, because it's my favorite word, however I see that mrgagaixi beat me to it. Because mrmgagaixi beat me to writing "Poop" it would only be fair for me to beat him at getting this rockin' headset. Solid logic on my part, too.
I agree about there being too many bugs. It was hard to enjoy.
But, speaking of Penny Arcade, there happens to be a certain Penny Arcade Expo happening in certain city, called Boston in, like, two weeks. So, I was wondering if certain journalists who happen to write for a certain website are going to a certain convention. If you catch my drift.
I actually played this in its, like, ultra-beta version at PAX East last year and I see that it's still wicked buggy. I still have the temporary tattoos. When I played it was still so intense knowing that whatever you're hiding behind could be gone in a second.
That sounds neat. But, you know what sounds MORE neat? Don't worry, I'll tell after I draw this out a bit longer. Ready?... You guys should come PAX East next year!!! Yeah! Because it's in Boston! And I know a know a butt-load of people that live in Massachusetts that would totally love to see you! I know, I know, it's probably too good of an idea, but it may be crazy enough to work.
I remember I spent days upon days of my younger years just playing GoldenEye with my brother and neighbors. There was always the one person who would play as Oddjob, the cheap bastard. It was such an incredible game.
No offense, but me and my buddy took down snatch and grab no problem. We just kept the snipers and used Scar-H Thermals. Juggernauts hate that shit. But, really thanks for Armor Piercing and High Explosive those were the only two i kept getting stuck on.
