put together a gaming on a gaming pc two years ago for $800, it's still going strong. Still getting around 180 fps on TF2 on which I have 700 hours. I'd call that a solid investment. |

@Radimir, I was about to tell you how wrong you were, when I had the foresite to check EB games. Jesus shit new ps3 games up to $118 AUD (which is worth marginally more than US right now). I forget these things because I'm so spoiled by steam. |

@MNC No, I'm quite sure that is not the case. Free to play people get no customisation because they haven't found or brought anything yet. They do not have stripped down accounts. The only thing the differentiates people who paid for the game and those who didn't is one hat. I agree with your main point, but haters always gunna hate. |

I loved GTA: Vice City (on pc), but then I got to The Driver. The mission was not only terribly hard, but was also a little broken. If I got too far behind or ahead of Hillary he would sink into the ground and drown. If I finished the mission after he drowned, it would display a mission failed screen and then my pc would crash. It took me three years to get over it and play the game again (and finish it). |

Yaaaay! Quick note, I brought a retail copy of l4d in Australia. It is just the steam version on a disk (and my disk didn't work). Valve games do not exist outside of Steam on the pc. |

An excellent podcast. May I point out though that Australian media is not as retarded as you give them credit for. The article mentioned "Terrorist games linked to Russian airport bomb" was almost sensible. Stating at one point in the article "Theories on the negative effect of violent computer games on society has found little scientific traction". A TL:DR version of the article would have simply stated "Russians blame bombing on computer games". mnc |

Well, that was different. It will be interesting to see how this affects the top 7 in the podcast. On a technical note:Did it switch display resolutions for anyone else? In the 3D dot game heroes bit and the firsts half of the blur bit I couldn't actually see what was going on. But when I re-watched it, it was fine. |

GTA vice city on pc. In the driver mission whenever I got to far ahead or too far behind the other racer, he sunk into the ground, died, and caused the game to crash when I reached the finish line. |
